Fabulous place to camp or stay with your camper/caravan. The sunsets and sunrises are amazing, the sculpture part is fantastic.

Beautiful place to come and visit especially during the golden hour and sunsets are stunning. You can camp nearby too and get some fantastic night sky photography. Definitely check out the whole park as well as the statues as there are some great walks

Very unique sculptures at the strong character of landscape site. A great spot to watch the sunset and multiple walking trails on the site.Keep in mind this park is closed at 6 pm. and Ranger will be waiting to close the gate.

On our road trip we went here to see the desert sculptures. It is a nice drive into the park. You pay at the huts located on your way into the park. There was plenty of parking and it was a short walk to the sculptures. It can all be taken in with a nice walk around the sculptures in about 45 minutes. It closes at sunset all year round. There is a nice flora walking track nearby too.

The sculptures are really awesome. The drive out is a bit long and the road is very narrow and quite steep towards the car park. The sunset is out of this world. However, be aware that when you leave there will be lots of wildlife on the side of the road and on the road, especially kangaroos - so be very careful and be hyper vigilant when leaving around/after sunset.

Located just 12 kms from Broken Hill the living desert state park has amazing 12 sandstone sculptures which were done in 1993 by artists from all over the world. There is small entry fee at the base and the park closes at 9 PM. The sunsets are absolutely magical and there are stunning panoramic views of Outback NSW from the top of the hill. Definitely worth a visit if you are around Broken Hill.

We were spoiled with the Mundi Mundi sunset two nights before. Certainly worth the trip though.

Nice place, especially at sunset. Make sure to come a couple of hours earlier to visit the Living Desert before visiting the Sculptures.

It's really worth a visit if you are around especially close to sunset. Views are amazing and you can take breathtaking panoramic pics from up there. Beware of drivers who would not give a way on a narrow steep road but most are polite. Closes at 8pm not 6pm as stated on their Google site and gates are broken so entry is free. Definitely a recommended To-do.

Amazing place. Great for photography. Go late afternoon and then for sunset too. The light is different. Each sculpture is well explained with signage. Amazing work these sculptors did. Entry fee to the park of $6 per person includes other sections as well such as the culture walk. The primitive camping place is also in the park. You need to book in advance for that. Caravans are acceptable too.
