Absolutely loved the service. The girls were super friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious (carbonara was creamy and the stake was cooked just right), and the cocktails were great. Nice bar for Friday night catch-ups. We were seated upstairs but downstairs had seating if you have accessibility concerns.

Food was amazing. So tasty! Service was pretty shocking. Guy was super rude to us and so short. Kept saying that he was the only one working but was super rude. Was talking back to us and swearing under his breath. Super tasty food but pretty bad service.

Small serving sizes, poor value. Misleading advertising with drinks ordered under 'Specials Menu' but told when paying that they only apply during happy hour - despite this not being on the menu. Won't be coming back

Thought we'd give this quiescent restaurant a go after finding it at 30% off on theFork. Even after the discount we all felt it was overpriced for the poor quality of food and service we received. Should have just stayed home for a nicer home cooked meal. The polenta calamari was overdosed in salt. Shimmying each piece to remove as much of the coating as possible was as annoying as it was futile. Both pieces of porterhouse were dry and the taste went from bad to worse as the meat cooled. One of the steaks was missing the extra side ordered. I was told my extra steak sauce was going to be $1 however was charged $4.The food took an hour to arrive...(despite them being quiet)We will probably never return- even if we want to doubt this place will survive Melb's competitive food scene.

Gourmet food expertly crafted and plated at an affordable price. A cozy atmosphere, with a beautiful style. My absolute must tries are the crispy pork belly, Lamb on Potato and Truffle mash and the Fungi Gnocchi! (All pictured below!)Pictures are worth a thousand words. Just look at these! Will be back in a heartbeat.

A pleasant and interesting early evening meal.We began our shared meal with lupini boiled in a brine. A good starter, but the portion was too much for two to just nibble on. Then we ordered 5 small and side dishes. The barramundi omlette was absolutely delicious and very moreish. So too the salmon pastrami - a seriously good dish.Incredibly crunchy roasted potatoes, and the black cabbage with an anchovy crumb also were also beautifully cooked and presented. Our last plate of beetroot interleaved with persimmon and almond cream was very rich and quite disappointing. The beetroot was subtle and delicious but was overwhelmed and made neglible by both the persimmon and the cream. Not a successful flavour combination at all (even if it looked wonderful.)We drank sparkling water and a glass of wine each. The service was responsive and good, and the menu offered an interesting and satisfactory range of flavours. We didn't feel like meats or pastas, so the meat free meal we chose was a successful experiment. All up a couple of hours well spent. Total cost was $100 including our tip.

Great place for an afternoon/evening meal. Very friendly staff. Loved all of the dishes, my favourite being the gnocchi.

Started off with great service from all the staff members who were friendly and attentive. But the food, wow, amazing. We had the lamb, carbonara, calamari and aricini balls and all were just fantastic, especially for the price. Will 100% return and definitely recommend

MODERN AUSTRALIAN CUISINE ON SWAN STREETWent to Caddie with a friend on a Thursday evening. We arrived very early and were the only customers. Staff were friendly and took the time to explain the menu and the day's specials. We elected to have a selection of small dishes to share. The menu is actually well suited to sharing with a range of entree sized offerings. The ground floor is a cozy bar. You go upstairs to the dining room. The dining room is fairly narrow but it doesn't feel cramped. We started with sparkling water and a glass of wine each.First menu item to arrive was the lupini bean dish. A generous bowl of cold beans - for my taste a bit too salty but there was no bitter aftertaste you sometimes get with this dish.Next came the smoked barramundi omelette. Delicious and creamy. The cured salmon was beautifully presented and well complemented by celeriac. The beetroot dish was also quite good. The potato dish was well flavoured and served quite hot. Last disj was black cabbage with anchovies. We paid juist under $90 in total for the meal (inclusive of wine).People with mobility issues will struggle here as there is a full flight of stairs up to the restaurant (and toilet). There is a decent car park at the rear of the complex. Parking is restricted on Swan Street in the evening peak.
