I have been this place almost 10 months ago when my car boot was not locking. There was a man who mentioned to me that he will require to create a duplicate key as my original key was slightly bent and can not risk to open a boot lock with it. I mentioned to him already that I never managed to open the boot by inserting a key in the lock of boot when it was not bent but some how he still was insisting to get the second key so he can open with it I agreed on it as I was anyway happy with the second car key for a backup. However, that man could not figure out that my original key has a chip in it and he just created a simple key for what I have paid $100 and I can not start my car with that key as that duplicate key does not have a chip inside it. The reason I have been told by that person was he could not retrieve the code as my car is 2009 model so he can not create the key with the code in it which can be useful to start the ignition lock. Please also note that he could not fix my boot lock issue and could not lock my boot at all. Next week I had it check with another locksmith he fixed the boot lock issue and door unlocked sign disappeared. The reason I am writing this review is on today's day 30/12/2022 because I have broken my original key which was twisted and I was left with no other backup so I borrowed my friends car and took my broken key to Misterminute Strathpine and person over there managed to create a key with chip and guess it works fine and I paid $130 for that new car key which actually start my car so I felt like I have been ripped of by this business on other day plus felt like it was a huge waste of time as well.

I replaced some barrel locks and a screen door handle + lock. The service was good but the actual price ended up being quite high in comparison to the quote I received via the telephone (the door handle install was additional to the quote but cost almost 60% more). I will not make any assumptions next time and confirm the quote before carrying out any work and maybe do more homework.

Spent weeks trying to get a key for my ZB Wagon roof rack after just purchasing the car. Holden unable to assist because of 'Security'. Sent off about 15 emails to different companies in Australia and overseas with no luck. Then i was recommended ABC Locksmiths. Sent them a email received a quote very quickly. Went next morning. Dannielle was extremely helpful, had the lock off and key made in under 20 minutes. Then charged me only half of the quote she gave me via email. Will recommend them and be the first place to try in future. Now i can get rid of those ugly Holden roof racks

Very helpful, professional staff. $45 was a little more expensive than what I was expecting to get a car key cut from a code, but I'm not sure how this compares to others. At the end of the day they did the job on the spot and it works perfectly.

They didn't have the correct stuff to help me but referred me to someone they thought could help me.

I was charged a ridiculous amount for a call out fee and services only to be told they couldn't fix the problem. Wasted an hour looking at an item they knew the couldn't fix to charge me for time. Wont be using them again or recommending. I understand a call out fee but do not charge for a service not given.
