Freshwater Creek Steiner School

I love this school for my children and they are both thriving here. They have caring, excellent class teachers, the school grounds are so beautiful because they are full of trees and grass, not concrete, we have a wonderful school community and my children are free to be children. Wouldn't send them anywhere else. The Spring Fair each October is fun too!

I spent my primary years from playgroup (I was around 3 years old) to year six (I was 12 when I graduated) and I loved it so much. I remember I would literally fake being healthy if I was sick because I loved school so much and didn't want to miss a single day in the classroom. The teachers are incredible; dedicated, caring, open, experienced and always willing to listen. The music program is wonderful, I still learn cello and love it just as much as I first did when I began to play it in year 3. I am constantly told that I am very creative, and I have Steiner education to thank for this. Thankyou so much, everyone at FWCSS for my wonderful education. I would wholeheartedly recommend Freshwater as a great place to learn. :)

My three children have attended this school. I could not have hoped for a better start to their school life. It is my belief that Freshwater Creek Steiner is a major contributor to them becoming the well adjusted, vibrant, engaged children they are. My eldest two are now happily at a mainstream High School, to which they transitioned easily. Their Steiner beginnings set them up superbly to meet the world. I highly recommend this school.

Maybe make sure you have the proper legal forms for excursions before next time. You know, so when a kid breaks their arm they don't have to wait around for an hour to get medical attention when their parent arrives... just a thought lol

Beautiful rural setting and a rich curriculum from K-6. Our three graduates are kind, considered, hardworking, well rounded adults.

Outstanding school, fantastic staff, great location, music, art, craft, and much more. A truly magic place for young human beings happily growing.

My son attended this school 3 years ago(kindergarten)and it wasn't a very pleasant experience. The teacher Assistant was very cold,he was bullied by another kid constantly and the response from the teacher wasn't very hands on,one day I decided to stay back and observed through the fence and watched how my boy was being bullied and both teachers were at the other end of the backyard with no one around to address this matter...next day he was out....best thing we ever did.

Fantastic school, beautiful environment. No safety issues that I know of!!
