Beautiful clean surroundings with friendly staff

Great place, great people, fantastic team to work with

They provided a caring environment for Mum's final years plus I loved working there as a volunteer whilst Mum was a resident.

Recently we put my husband in this nursing home. He was suffering from an autoimmune condition which left him with no mobility and very little use of his hands.He also had stage 4 cancer.This home had no idea how to treat a patient with these conditions, showed little compassion to him or us, and his condition deteriated rapidly.On the Mon morning when I visited him, he was showered and sitting in his chair, but so ill, in pain , and terrified , but no-one seemed to notice or care. At this stage he had lost all mobility in his hands and had to rely on calling out to staff during the night, for a drink. He was so dehydrated and his lips were coated in white mucus.I called my daughter and we spent the rest of the day,with the help of an agency nurse who had years of experience and two wonderful ambos, who got him back to our local hospital where he had received quality care . He died the following night, peacefully and without pain after finally receiving the right medication.This nursing home robbed my family of quality time with my husband in the final days of his life .

Cant find my nannas belongings

My pop lives here now and it is honestly no better place to have him. My gran can take him down the corridor to the cafe and have a coffee with him or go out to the garden. They play games and exercises with the residents. Very friendly nurses and carers.

Friendly people and varied accommodation options. Shops and sporting facilities are being added nearby providing even more services close by.

My Mother has just moved into this nursing home and we are all so pleased that she has adjusted so well. Staff are so caring. It has taken a huge weigh off of the family to know that she is safe now and well cared .

My mum was in this place and thank god she was moved. I’m an RN and the care was disgusting. My beautiful mum is very debilitated but 100 % with it in the head. The staff treated her with no dignity at all. Her food was always cold despite complaints and the care disgusting. The staff are cold, rude, no manners and talked to my mum so badly. Any concerns just made them even ruder. I would not send a dog there. You lot should be ashamed of yourself and I wonder if some are real nurses. So glad she has gone elsewhere. The treatment of the elderly continues to be terrible. I have seen now with my own eyes what goes on
