Simply breathtaking views. Nicely maintained lighthouse. Has parking however limited spots on the top. You can get free parking however you will have a fair hike up to the light house. What a beauty and its highly recommended when in town. Will be back soon.

A must-visit if you are in Byron Bay.It doesn't matter what time of day you decided to visit. This lighthouse has its own charm whether its dusk or dawn.Recommended to reach early ~6am as there are limited parking. We decided to dock our car at nearby paid parking lot and take a nice walk to the beach and most easterly point of Australia. The walk is moderately intense as there were lots of stairs and steep slopes. Covered shoes are recommended.

Magnificent! Cape Byron Bay Lighthouse is an absolute treasure! Perched majestically atop the headland, it offers sweeping views of the surrounding coastline and azure waters. The historic lighthouse itself is a sight to behold, standing as a symbol of maritime history. The walking trails leading up to the lighthouse are scenic and serene, immersing you in nature's beauty. A visit here is a must for anyone seeking awe-inspiring vistas and a touch of history.

One of the best ocean view I have ever seen. The walking track from the town to the lighthouse is the best walk you’ll ever experience. There is a cafe at top to grab some brekkie. You can drive to the top but walking is highly recommended. A lot of dolphins can be sighted on the way to the hill. Such a wonderful experience. Don’t miss out.

Nestled amidst nature's embrace, the picturesque landscape unfolds like a painting brought to life. Majestic mountains rise proudly, their peaks touching the heavens, while tranquil valleys spread out below, adorned with lush carpets of greenery. The air carries a hint of freshness, infused with the delicate fragrance of wildflowers that paint the meadows in a kaleidoscope of colors.Sunlight filters through the foliage of towering trees, casting dappled shadows on the forest floor. The symphony of nature plays softly in the background, with the gentle rustling of leaves and the melodious songs of birds filling the air. Crystal-clear rivers meander through the land, their waters glistening under the radiant sunlight, inviting travelers to lose themselves in their serene beauty. As the day progresses, the sky transforms into a mesmerizing canvas, ablaze with hues of orange, pink, and gold. The sun descends gracefully, casting a golden glow upon the landscape. The horizon becomes a tapestry of colors, merging seamlessly with the tranquil waters of lakes and seas, as if the earth and the sky have become one.In the distance, fields of swaying golden wheat dance in the wind, their rhythmic movements echoing the harmony of the surroundings. Rolling hills stretch as far as the eye can see, inviting adventurers to explore their undulating paths and discover hidden treasures within. As twilight descends, a blanket of stars adorns the velvet sky, twinkling like diamonds. The moon casts its silvery glow upon the land, illuminating hidden corners and casting an air of mystery over the scenery. Nature's nocturnal symphony takes center stage, as owls hoot in the distance and fireflies paint the darkness with their ethereal glow.In this breathtaking panorama, time seems to slow down, allowing one to appreciate the beauty and grandeur of the world. It is a place where the soul finds solace, where worries are forgotten, and where the magnificence of nature reminds us of the wonders that exist beyond the confines of our daily lives.

Awsome views. The lighthouse looks more like a fort when you get up close. The walk to the eastern most point of Australia is not easy. I wouldn't recommend it for small kids or those that need any assistance walking, take water with you

Superbly maintained lighthouse.Operational and has the most powerful light beacon in Australia.Great views all around.Plenty of photo opportunities.Nice walk to the ocean. Can be extremely windy (it was the day we visited). The car parks near it are very small - you may have to park a good distance away. But well worth the visit!

If you don’t want to walk up the big hill, drive straight to the top car park, can easily fill up, but if you wait around someone will leave. $8 fee to park there but if you don’t want to walk up the big hill worth the fee. Otherwise the other parking spaces are free, most easterly point on mainland Australia.

It's worth the drive up. Limited parking ($8), so be prepared to wait or hike a little. Was lucky to see some Whales in the distance, so we spent a good while just enjoying the view.

Loved our visit! We were lucky enough to arrive when the lighthouse tour was on. The kids loved going to the top of the lighthouse. Amazing views from up there and the guys running the tour were very informative. Even without the tour, it's a beautiful spot to visit.
