For RV'ers, the showgrounds leave a lot to be desired.The amenities block, while functional need heaps of tlc.Fronting New England Hwy, and the main rail line, there is considerable noise at night.There appear 2 sections of RV's, one as you enter and another way down the back ( appear long termers). The motorists from the rear site travel through far too fast and on the gravel road make heaps of noise and dust.

The grounds manager Rhonda is great, she met us with a hand full of brochures and local information. We booked a site with power and water. What a surprise to find it was undercover. There a several amenity blocks both old and new but all very clean.Walking distance from coles and Aldi. Well worth the $25 a night. We will be back.

Excellent place to camp, stayed 3 nights while we explored the local area. Amenities are clean, showers hot with good water pressure. Caretaker Rhonda is the benchmark in customer service, friendly and very helpful. Powered site $25 per night.

We stayed in the non power section. Easy to contact park carer, was lovely on the phoneDogs allowed on leash. Really nice and clean amenities which is lovely to have.

The best showground camp anywhere. Rhonda the caretaker is an absolute gem of a lady and the amenities are spotless. So clean, so good. We will definitely be returning to Muswellbrook over and over again. What a lovely town.

Very friendly caretakers and the grounds were immaculate. Spotless modern toilets and showers. Aldi straight across the road. Sorry guys no photos of the grounds

Didn't book as we hadn't planned on travelling as far as here on this day. Rhonda was awesome putting us up in an undercover site (very much appreciated with all the rains and flooding) made packup the next morning a breeze

The road into the Showground is full of potholes.Very Very muddy sites for the permanents, toilet/shower block is a very far walk..No washing machine on site.Tourist sites are a whole lot better though & much closer to the amenities!This place has a long way to go, but would is a good spot for overnight, but permanently not so much.

Stayed here on my travels around Australia . Rhonda is lovley, very accommodating and has a bunch of leaflets on what to do while here. Amenities are great ,clean and new . Not bad for$25 a night for power and water.
