Disappointed in the lads this afternoon, we rang earlier to set up a cheeky game of lawn bowls for a close friends birthday and as we arrived not all went to plan. With success, we booked a game for 740, as we arrived at 7:37 we were met with a chap who told us they would be shut at 8:15. Utterly disappointed with the club, when the shut time is clearly 9 o’clock. Horrendous form.

Went there for a charity quiz afternoon. Good atmosphere, nice afternoon tea, drinks available at the bar, pleasant spot.

A group of us went for a meal last night and not only was the food great, Ed (the chef) came and chatted with us about our experience etc. Once he found out it was someone's birthday he gave out ferrero rocher to everyone and a whole box to the birthday bar. Ed is very friendly and made our night much more enjoyable. Decent feed and goid prices too. The lady on the bar (sorry I forgot your name) was lovely too. In fact all the staff were.
