By far the worst customer experience I've had. Refused to honour a warranty request for a faulty item after it was used once. Staff are rude and very short once you stand your ground and know your rights. Will never be spending another dollar with this store/company.Only reason they're getting one star is because I can't give them 0.

Frequent and loyal customer since starting my own business a couple of years ago and spent thousands. Never been good customer service but I haven't really needed it until I had an issue with a faulty Makita power tool. I was really hoping to get a replacement tool but it was booked in to be repaired instead which I totally understood and expected but I needed the tool so i purchased another tool (same one). Once I started using the new tool I realised it was faulty and took it back but staff there and one of the Makita reps were not interested as the tool is still usable. Not a happy customer I popped into Total Tools next door who were more helpful and I didn't even buy the tool from there. Very disappointed in Sydney Tools and Makita.

Massive praise to Morrabbin and Stefan. Have been a customer of Sydney Tools for a few years now, mix of online and in store, as well as other stores at times (total tools, bunnings). Spend a fairly large amount on tools / accessories for work, probably at least 15k or so this year. Have had mixed experiences in the past with service in some of the stores, as well as recently, however, after some recent online purchases / shipments, was followed-up by a Moorabbin staff member, Stefan, to touch base and see if there was anything more they could do, spoke with him on the phone and he simplified multiple things, followed up on things which in-store staff at other stores hadn't done correctly, and organised everything himself. Extremely prompt and courteous.You can definitely tell when speaking with him that he knows what he's doing, is very efficient and knows the value of giving additional assistance to regular customers. The info and input he's given so far has helped a tonne and i'm likely to only deal with Sydney Tools from here on and bypass the competitors unless unavoidable. Hope the store manager appreciates the work he puts in, as he's head and shoulders above lots of the other people i've dealt with at other stores.Also just a side note and praise to Eli from Moorabbin, who was also very prompt and helpful with organising multiple orders prior and with great communication.Huge props to Stefan and Sydney Tools Moorabbin, for anyone reading, i suggest you use this store over the others unless it's way too far away to be practical. A+++

Disappointed as they can change their return policy as any time as they want. Here is my story, I've bought 4 box of masks on 25/01/2020, and I thought 4 box are too much and someone else may need it as masks are in urgent need these days, so I went to the store to return 1 box on 09/02/2020, and the store manager Brad refused to accept the return with a rude manner and told me they had a new return policy which excludes the masks, and I asked since when they had this new return policy, he checked their email system and told me on Friday(07/02/2020) they had this policy, I tried to reason with him and showed him the masks are in the original sealed bag without any damage(you know you cannot get a mask out without tearing the plastic bag first) and told him that I bought the box of mask before they release their new returning policy, he simply refused with a dismissive manner saying his hands are tight. This is unbelievable and this business conduct is cheating and is totally against the consumer protection regulation, I have raised the issue to the authority. So, please be careful of their refund and return policy!

Was in need of some new tools, Was served by a legend named Andrew who sorted me out and was very helping and genuine! Cheers guys

Huge tool store selling professional tradies, mechanics etc tools and machinery. Large bright showroom with large and very wide range of products and a lot, if not all of the major industrial, heavy duty brands. Lots of visible staff, the ones I dealt with seemed to be knowledgeable about stuff I was interested in. Theirs a Total Tools as well as an RSEA only a few metres away, so a good place to comparison shop.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Sydney Tools with John, went out of the way to help out.Go down look for John, he will be there to help out, guide and advice you! Bought my first 6 Piece Milwaukee here . Definitely a good deal.Great store , great people and best service

Spent $4,200 on some tool cabinets and a parts washer. One of the cabinets was faulty and would not close without major force. I have now been battling (sitting on hold for over 1/2 hour) for 3 weeks to get a replacement. Also a part washer brush was not sent, and promised now 2 times it will be posted. Still nothing. Terrible service.
