It is such a treat to discover this lovely tea shop and taste some real high quality teas in the middle of Salamanca market. The perfect place to rest for a stop after the Saturday Salamanca market. The service is great and the owner is very friendly and informative. I feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

My partner and I went to A Moment of Tea and had a great experience. I never knew there was so much involved with tea -Zachary was very knowledgeable about all things tea and was great to have a conversation with. Try the oolong dong ding - it's delicious!

A Moment of Tea
Went on a Sunday around 2.00pm and had a tea tasting. Excellent experience. We chose three teas and each one came out with a different teapot and tea cups. The presentation of the teas and store itself were really pleasant. Joanne was great, she talked us through each tea and every detail behind it. How/where it's made etc. It was great. It's a very peaceful atmosphere and perfect for sitting with your tiny teacups appreciating tea.

What a beautiful experience it is to visit this place. It feels less like a shop and more like a moment to slow down, sit, think, take a breath. I was visiting Hobart from Melbourne - and my husband and I stopped in as we are both big tea drinkers. We were greeted by a calm and peaceful gentlemen, who offered us three selections of tea to try. Each tea was so lovely. :)

Tucked away on a side street off Salamanca Cove, check out Woody’s Lane for this absolute gem. If you’re a classic English Breakfast tea drinker like me, try Big Red Robe Oolong for a satisfying experience. Your host is delightful and well versed on the history of how each tea she carries, came to be. Served in unique teapots, each paired with a chocolate or matcha ball and complimentary cashews and almonds, you will leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Lovely artisan tea bar. Friendly host provided us some great tea for trial. I purchased a beautiful tea pot and brewed the selection tea at home. The tea from A Moment of Tea shines my golden time with family and friends.

Took part in one tea workshop, which turned out a surprise for me. Didn't expect it's like a tea meditation, calming down your mind and body and leading you to explore the fascinating tea world.Joanne has many knowledge about tea and kindly shares her experience regarding meditation and Vipassana. I feel it's like a spritual session and communicate with interesting people and the tea, leaving me content and peace in the end.Highly recommend for those seeking for a peace of mind and a good time with friends! Definitely will go again.

A Moment of Tea is an exceptional tea shop that I recently visited and I must say it was a memorable experience. The shop is well-stocked with various tea blends and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting the perfect tea for me. The ambiance of the shop is cozy and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of tea.I also appreciated the attention to detail that was put into the preparation and presentation of the tea. The tea was brewed to perfection and served in beautiful, delicate teacups. The variety of tea leaves available for purchase was impressive, and I ended up taking some home with me.Overall, my experience at A Moment of Tea was delightful and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable tea experience.
