Absolutely thrilled with the end result! Helpful and very experienced advice in product and colour selection of the hybrid vinyl and carpet. Thanks Steve! The job was over an hour away, the layers were organised and finished the job in the time frame given. The house had a few issues we were aware of and concerned about, but these were resolved easily and seamlessly. Fabulous job!

Where do I start. Unfortunately my partner and I have had to deal with discount city carpets with them being the chosen by our builder. The first installation of our flooring before handover was appalling and our handover was delayed because we refused to pay the builder until it was rectified. We then move into our home where we started to get bubbling of the floors. We were first accused of “water damage” but they sent out a contractor of theirs and he said he’s seen water damage flooring and our floor was definitely not water damaged. He said the floor has been incorrectly installed and needs to be ripped up and re installed with a plastic underlayer.So we have the floor repaired again, the floor is good for a few months and then gaps between the floor panels and the wall cornices start to appear. Upon closer inspection I also notice loose pieces of cornices where the contractors didnt even glue or nail.So we contact them again it’s now the secondThey come and repair to a better standard. But unfortunately now we have gaps again between the floor boards and the wall cornices again. My partner and I are absolutely exhausted with this experience and are now looking at alternative flooring.Our flooring is “oak leaf collection” - laminate flooring by preference flooring. For reference.

Great Job from start to finish! The team at the Mile End store were fantastic.Measured by Andrew and Anthony, installed by William and Alex....... Hybrid floors, carpet ,blinds and sheers expertly delivered and organized on time within a few days.Very Happy and would highly recommend.

Although untimatly we did chose another carpet company, I want to leave a good review as 'Steve' at Mile End was extremely helpful and went out of his way to try and acomodate our needs. He did a free measure and quote and they have some less expensive carpet if you are searching. I would recommend Steve as a nice guy to deal with.Judith & Barry

Having had my 2 houses done by them before i was certainly going back to them....but not this time. After someone had called me back to come and change my colour due to it now not being in stock, i did so!! I went in and this one in particular man showed me one colour. He did not offer my anything, he did not say we can work a deal, he did not apologise nor did he doing anything to help me problem, which is actually their fault i might add. I turned to him and said well i guess i need my deposit back. He said sure, walked over put my card in and that was it. Clearly they are making far too much money to worry about one single customer, especially a returning customer. You will never have me or anyone else come back ever again!!! Steve was the one who i always dealt with and who actually was good, but clearly he was the only one who cared!

We found the service at Discount City Carpets to be excellent. Barry was professional, helpful and patient. He worked with us to get carpet laid in a city apartment that was very difficult to access. The installers were punctual and did a fantastic job. They took the old carpet away and left our apartment clean and tidy. We cannot praise them enough. I would highly this company and we will definitely use them again.

Customer service at it's worst. No one was interested in helping us out. Unwillingly Lady sales executive came over and asked questions which were not related to the product that we wanted. And she said in the lines that our quotes may not be cheap. We asked for a specific and she said it's too expensive. In short she was judging us and she was not willing to give us a quote. I would never ever recommend my enemies to even get a quote from this place.

Initial service was really good. There was however a huge lack of communication when it came to collecting our flooring. Fingers were pointed by staff members at other staff to shift blame. Anyway a refund was offered and promised on the next working day. It's now 4 days into the working week and I have not been refunded my $1700.00. No communication, no follow up - I'm not happy.
