Two Beans at Carome Estate
I've dined at Two Beans Cafe, and received nothing but exceptional food and service. Coffee was great, food excellent and the staff couldn't help me enough. Having the car park full was an issue for me, however a quick call to the Cafe; and they then opened their private driveway to the rear of the establishment (where the disabled entrance is located) and all was resolved.I'd go again, just to sample the test of the menu.

Great friendly atmosphere, the new owners are so lovely and friendly. Kids had a ball playing with the outside toys provided. Amazing breakfast and hot tasty coffee. Will be our new local for sure. great work to all the staff

Two Beans at Carome Estate
This homestead is a beautiful, cosy and comfortable retreat from suburbia. Driving through the townhouses of Mernda into an open field of the homestead. A gorgeous heritage homestead full of quiet seperated rooms with wood burner-like gas fires to add the the aesthetic and comfort. The food was delicious, though be aware it's hard to distinguish vegetarian options from meat options.

Served a fabulous Antipasto plate without asking, thanks Zoran for that gift whilst we waited for our mains. And Keran, who helped to make sure our dietary needs were met with such generosity.Then we had calamari and salad (their salads are to die for) and fish and chips, best chips I’ve had this year! Crisp, tasty and perfect doneness. The salad is made of rocket, basil pesto, fennel, orange segments, heritage tomato’s, sliced red cabbage, and pomegranate. My fish was served with a rich tartare sauce that was yummy too.Overall this place is a wondrous discovery. Just look at the river, the views, the views, the food. The building is a small heritage home with multiple small rooms with three birthday parties today. So beautiful social and happy place.They have plans to double the kitchen and add significantly more seating. They’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We had family brunch here on sunday and it was superb. A beautiful location with lots of gorgeous outdoor space.It was a very busy morning and the computer wasn't playing fair so there were some delays. But the staff handled it with grace and kindness and it was lovely to have more time on site.Food was absolutely spectacular and we took home cakes for later as well.Definitely will be back.

Made a booking for 11 people. Arrived and there was no table available for our group. So we were given 2 tables, next to each other, but splitting up our family group gathering, for Easter (disappointing). Ordered meals at 11.20am. We were told by the waitress, that we had to order quickly if we wanted to order off the breakfast menu, as orders for breakfast stopped at 1130am. So we ordered our meals, quickly. Our meals arrived, with the waitress bringing an extra kids meal. She stated we ordered it, but we were sure we didn't. She became passive aggressive, telling us we could take it away. But we said no, as we didn't order it. She become more aggressive stating we had ordered it, and she had read the order back to us. We reiterated, we didn't order it, so she took it away. A few minutes later, another waiter returned and apologised, as that order was for another table. This interaction ruined the vibe of our Easter Family get together. Anyway, the food was pretty good, not great and not bad. The location was nice, having a walk down to the Plenty River after our meal.

A perfect place to have a relaxed breakfast or a slow lunch. Top quality food, with excellent presentation. It is located in a rural area, yet next to the suburbs. Kangaroos can be found outside welcoming you when you visit. The service is excellent and the folk seem to love being there. It is an excellent example how to salvage heritage buildings and make them useful and open to others to enjoy. Highly recommend, and take a stroll around the premises before and after to explore the old machinery and land.

Back a few times and food has been always quality. Nice and friendly owner had a chat with us and detailed his renovation plan. Looking forward to seeing this. High recommended for cafe, brunch, lunch, high tea and small wedding.

Two Beans at Carome Estate
It's a very nice cafe with an awesome outdoor setting. We visited the place on a cold day, so we had to sit inside. It was warm, cozy, and very pretty. There were a few fireplaces inside, some fake and some real. The food and coffee were pretty good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place has noce gardens around the house. Nearby, there is ground with lots of Kangaroos roaming freely. Overall, it's a nice place for great weekend outings.
