My partner and I fell in love with that store!It has a lot of authentic objects with history mixes with some contemporary things with great taste and elegance.Owners were kind to share the history of the table on image that top was made from an old Chinese door, and helped us with loading the furniture into the van. We will definitely be back for more!

I love this store. You can wander the stacked up corridors of Asian, mostly Japanese furniture, fabric, and decor items, from all periods (from antique to vintage to mid century modern) for an hour, just admiring the workmanship and ingenuity of the original craftspeople. And slowly convince yourself of the absolute need for you to buy a particular item you have just discovered. Or you can dash in and out for a specific type of item or furniture. And the smell! Overwhelmingly of wood and furniture polish!Now it is not cheap, but it is worth it. From comparatively tiny items through to very large pieces this is the best selection and range of this type of furniture, fabrics and kimonos, and Asian decor items in Melbourne. And it is continuously renewed. So definitely worth making time to visit at least seasonally.

They have a beautiful Japanese antique furniture collection in Melbourne. Some of the Tanzu cabinets are beautifully restored.

Amazing shop to but Japanese clothing, furniture and artifacts.

It's actually a terrific place to see Japanese antique furniture they've imported before and as it undergoes restoration for sale. Unfortunately, the day we went they were in the process of relocating, so there wasn't much to see. However, it will be well worth visiting the new warehouse once they've moved.

I love this place, there are bargains to be found. It’s a large space filled with great Japanese treasures.
