Quite possibly the worst take out we have eaten. If a so called Mexican restaurant can’t cook rice they need to close their doors.We ordered 28/05/23 around 10:15pm. Our meals were completely ruined by undercooked hard rice and cheap grisly chicken. $60 later never again. It’s a shame as GYG was always are go to. Never again !!!!Order number- 25819648 please feel free to put them money back in our account!!

I had to repeat the order 4 or 5 times and they still managed to get it wrong, the burrito had sections in it that were cold and wet - the way food can be when it has been removed from a fridge where the temp is too low - and the large fries filled only half the cup. If that was the large serving, I guess you get about two fries in the standard size.Not a good experience.

My all time favourite & my new local. I love GYG! Their food is the best. It's great being able to drive 5 minutes down the road now instead of into Wollongong. The store is often busy but the staff do a great job in getting orders out, even if they're getting smashed. I try to order online now before I go to reduce the waiting time.

The food has been great. The staff I found friendly though very busy. But it's struggling with the amount of people going. The parking and drive thru is atrocious.

Easily one of the best takeaway options around. Since they've opened, they've been super busy at peak times, but they move quick and they get our orders right. The staff are very friendly and professional and I can appreciate the fact that they're not the typical teenagers of regular fast food joints that couldn't care less about customer service, or getting your order right. Definitely a step in the right direction for takeaway in the area.

My experience at GyG could have been better. Firstly, the P plater ahead of me in the drive through felt it important to have a 7 minute or so conversation while ordering. Yakking away and having a good old time, without a moment's thought to the longish line of people waiting to order. It was really inconsiderate and plain selfish. It's possible she works there, or knew someone and was having a catch up. In that time, 4 cars that where behind me in the other lane were able to order while I sat there growing impatient. Poor form. Secondly, 3 of the 4 tacos I ordered were spicy when I ordered mild. Not sure what's going on there, but they can do better hopefully. Very average experience.

I visited the new GyG location in Fairy Meadow in Wollongong and was thoroughly impressed. The drive-through service was a great feature, making it convenient to grab a quick meal. The food was delicious, especially considering the burritos and bowls were only $5 on Opening day. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff maintained fast and efficient service. Overall, I highly recommend this GyG for anyone in the Wollongong area looking for a satisfying meal at a reasonable price.
