I am not one for reviews but I just want to say that the team at this store especially Vicky, always helps me out with whatever I need and is the reason why I continue to shop at Michael hill. She knows exactly what I am after without trying to upsell like other businesses. Even when I come in for a clean and don’t spend any money, she always welcomes me with a smile and a friendly chat.

The worst experience ever with MH Eastgardens! Would NEVER come back to this store and would NEVER recommend this store to anyone.At 10th year wedding anniversary in Oct/Nov 2021, we bought a diamond ring which was too big for my finger. The problem was it needed to be resized 6 sizes down to fit me which they could have advised me that this should not be done. However, they (Stephanie was the store manager then) wanted to sell and sold it to me, then had it resized. They told me to come back in two weeks since purchase to pick up the ring which was right on our wedding anniversary. To our disappointment, the ring however was not there! We then had to come back another time.May 2022 or 6 months later, I was shocked discovering one day that the ring was broken (with 2 snaps, on the band, near the diamond.I brought the ring back the store, which was explained to me by Vicki, the second- in-charge store manager that this could have been happened because the ring was resized too many sizes down.She then took the ring and sent it to their manufacture store for inspection. A couple of days later they advised me that they would make a new band of the ring for me. Two weeks after, i was called into the store to pick up the right. To my confusion, the ring/band did not fit me. Simply because they did not even bother to check what my size was when having a new band made!!!The ring with the new band then again was sent to jeweler to resize again!A week later, they advised me to come into the store to pick up the resized ring. When I got to the store, the store manager not only did not apologise to me, but rudely indicated that there was nothing wrong with the ring in the firs place (ah, so why did it break/snap 6 months after purchase) and indicated that it must have been me for the fact that the ring snapped!!!I just could not express enough my frustration and outrage with such terribly lame and unprofessional customer service that MH Eastgardens and especially the store managers had shown! This store does not even deserve a 1 star rating!!!

I bought a pair of earrings for my fiancé for Christmas. On first glance she didn’t like them and were too big. We took them back to the store to exchange for a smaller pair only to get told we can’t exchange or get a refund because of their policy (even though they were never worn). This isn’t the first problem I’ve had with them! I bought an expensive engagement ring which after a month the silver started going a greasy colour Due to the quality of the ring. I won’t be shopping with them again and I don’t recommend anyone else wasting their time with them either.

Wasted over an hour of my time while heavily pregnant over two separate visits waiting for the staff to resolve an internal system issue which meant my lifetime care plan was not being recognised. The manager assured me it would be resolved in the week it took to repair my ring but instead had to wait another 40 minutes for the staff member to resolve. They still requested I come back for a third time! Ultimately the system issue was resolved and I left with my rings. Will never return to this store again. They did not need to hold my rings hostage while trying to figure out what was wrong in their system. An absolute joke of customer service.

Had to come in to exchange size of my partner and I's Tungsten rings. Went smoothly, the server was wonderful, great conversation and really lovely. It was all done within 15 or so minutes with no hassle whatsoever.

Today we had so bad experience with customer service in Eastgardens Michael Hill. It was male sales person. We came to pick up our wedding rings. It was feeling that we are not welcome there. We waited and he was with other customers after that he didn't say Hallo" or didn't ask us what we wanted until I did it. After that he took the receipt and went to take from the box our rings

My wife and I have had a few unpleasant experiences at this Michael Hill. On our first visit the staff were quite pushy in trying to sell us a ring with a clearly flawed diamond (we subsequently bought a ring at a different MH store). We have taken the ring to the Eastgardens store twice for cleaning but the staff were quite rude and condescending to us. There is really no point in paying for the MH Professional Care Plan if the staff are so reluctant to provide the service that is paid for. And the Lifetime Diamond Warranty requires the ring to be inspected every 6 months for the rest of your life (if you are late for a single inspection then the whole warranty is voided) - just not realistic for most people.

I had a bad experience with this store not the brand because I wanted to refund one gold earings and they didn't know what should they do I think this is the most simple thing in each store! one of the ladies was nice and apologized but the lady who was like manager didn't have a nice behavior I was waiting for her for one hour to do refunding for me and after 1 hour she started calling to ask what should she do. I could not wait for it more than this. I took earrings and receipt and went to city branch they did it for me in 2 mins. And also they were so nice but this branch I should say oh my God!!!!! How one person can be this much unprofessional.

Staff are extremely ignorant!! I purchased earrings from this store and when one of them snapped! I took it back to discuss what could be done to fix them! I wasn’t greeted at all upon entering the store. There was 3 ladies working and the one I approached told me she was busy!! There is zero customer service skills and when a product is damaged- the staff don’t care & don’t want to know. (She could of even pretended to try & help) Would never buy from this chain ever again!
