This is an old review happened around April 2018. I accidentally pressed the edit / update button so it looks like a new review. Sorry about that. None of old staff is still working there. The new staff provides better service than 3 years ago.The manager almost always in their Chatswood office. Staffs change all the time. Every staff understands and interprets centrelink policy differently, if you ask more, they tell you that you talk too much and centrelink is not their boss. If you want speak some of your own opinion that doesn't agree with them, they tell you “Don’t speak, Listen”. If you still want to say, all their staffs in the office, including staffs whose job title aren’t job consultant will come to you altogether and tell you if you don’t stop talking immediately, they will ask you to leave or they will call police. When you are in this situation, they make you feel you’re a criminal and they are wardens at a labour camp.

The person who called me who knows nothing about my health and didnt even ask about it because he admitted he's not qualified to make a health assessment, tells me I am not disabled and will not get approved. I tried to question how I could prove my situation, that I have several debilitating incurable diseases, but the conversation went in such a way I hung up crying. He was very persistent in telling me I am not disabled. I wont bother trying again, regardless of how my health progresses. I cannot imagine willingly sitting through such a inconsiderate and insensitive conversation ever again. A helpful person would have given advice on the conversation I should have with my health professionals in order to prepare myself, not discourage me from applying at all. No place will hire me with my physical limitations. That warrants help. If your staff can't see that they are in the wrong job.

Mid-age, blonde staff lady is just have no idea what is customer service and how to talk to people. She always being rude all the time, and I always feel sorry for myself and whoever need to talk to her. she has never listen to anybody and just want to make everybody listen to her. from my sight of eye, she rarely work and just gossip in personal when she has a chance.

It was June 23, 2021, NSW had announced mask mandate the day before. I went to your appointment with mask on at 10 am. None of your staff wore mask. I told them politely I would leave right away because they had violated mask restriction order. Your staff followed me to the corridor. Your job consultant Kate shout at me “If you leave now, your Centrelink payment will be affected.” I asked Who give you the right to threaten me in the name of Centrelink?". She shouted “I’ll call police.” I ignored her and left.It was a funny scene. A bunch of rude people who broke rules before your eyes got angry because you refused to let them continue to instruct you how to comply with rules.Moments later. I received a message from Ability Option “You missed a requirement. Your payment may be put on hold.”Centrelink should be made aware of how your staff bully the clients by making their own rules in the name of Centrelink and making threat in the name of government."
