Clifton Hill

I usually get of at Clifton Hill to cross over to the Mernda . Clif hill being a junction has a lot less seating than much smaller stations.It does have good size platform though . Also most importantly toilets are here so you can do your thing incase of an emergency . Over all a,itstation that does the job but could.be spruiced up a whole lot.Most train lines running along the north lines stop here so a good trick I use is to catch this train , get off here and catch the next one to avoid que building in the city and the rush hour.Over all all the basics are covered cannot wait for some improvements though

Good station but trains are being cancelled very often and replaced with buses (which is a nightmare going up punt road). When it works - getting into the city is amazingly quick and easy. When it doesn't it is a nightmare.

It's a transfer train station... Unless of course you're into that sort of thing

Very busy station, but very convenient for a lot of train line services. Very close to a netball court and Maccas. Might want to be a bit careful at night with a few creeps hanging around

Couldn't find a single plug where to charge my phone to call an uber home. Very disappointing.

BUSY MULTI-LINE STATION IN INNER NORTH EASTClifton Hill is the last shared station for the South Morang and Hurstbridge lines, All trains stop here (even if express).It has some limited car parking in John Street (the small side street that runs parallel to Hoddle Street) as well as bicycle racks. Trains to the city run quite frequently thanks to the two lines converging here.The station has automatic ticket machines as well as a staffed office.Buses connect with the station on Hoddle Street.To get to other platform you need to walk through the underpass which can be a little scary at night.Underpass will also get you across to the other side of Hoddle Street.

So hard to to ask staff questions when they all start speaking indain and don't give you the right answers.

If a train station is where you go to wait for a train this has to be the most stationy of stations in the inner north.
