RAAF Memorial Park
Beautiful spot to sit and watch the people walk and ride by and see a thousand dogs getting walked. A few tables and chairs around for a picnic at any time of the day. Beautiful outlook over Moreton Bay and the islands off the coast. If you want to join in the walking or the riding this is a great place to start from too, you can go either direction and enjoy any length of walk or ride you desire. Highly recommend the Brighton Bakery nearby for some yummy food to enjoy at this beautiful spot.

This is where we 4017ers start our daily walks or when getting hot chips from IGA or calamari from Brighton Seafoods we bring it here to eat.Unfortunately the closest toilets are at IGA or Decker Park but it is still a great little part of our Brighton Foreshore.A lot of the kitesurfers start their surf kiting adventures from this park. At night you have a wonderful view of the lights on the Bridge over to bogan world. On a clear day you can see ths sand dunes on Moreton Island.

.. a great place to walk the puppy, day or night, with good lighting, conveniently located bins for the No2s, & wide & level pathways for the wheelchairs too!

Photos were taken at my favourite spot during a 5kl Boxing Day walk. Seated at the Brighten Memorial Rotunda to reflect, looking out to Bramble Bay Redcliff to Sandgate.... unexpected Rainbow appeared this has never happend all these Twenty years a feel-good moment would like to share

It is always a moving ceremony and a very nice, respectful way to end the day, especially when most of the cadets and the officers have been up since dawn. It shows their professionalism and sense of duty. All the locals really appreciate their effort.

Beautiful place to take your family and Pets for a walk, plenty of areas to play at the beach or at a playground. Bbq areas are quick to get scooped up for the day but is an amazing day if you can get one. Sunscreen is a must and public toilets are also located along the walk. People are also friendly which is a bonus.

Good place to start a walk with the dog. Path to the north is wide with room for all while the path to Sandgate Pier can narrow a little in a couple of spots. It is a good area for children with a small sandy beach that is suitable only at high tide. There are no public toilets but the park in the northern part of Brighton has one.

Great place to wet a line and catch a feed of Whiting or Flathead or just sit and clear your thoughts.
