Before you, Sydney Harbour fans out to, on the left, the CBD of the city at Circular Quay, with the Bridge and the Sydney Opera House; in front, a stretch of water to the North Shore; and to the right, a bit in the distance, South Head of the harbour outlet to the ocean beyond. At your back, a delightful little park, popular for weddings. All that, and you have hardly moved from one spot.

Nice little park, tucked away. Ferry wharf at the bottom of a rambling path through the ruined foundations of a historic house. Has a secret garden feel to it. Plenty of spots for a picnic.

Apart from the fully functional ferry wharf, the night city view from here’s stunning. There’s a nice park nearby which is not as busy as the other parks around.
