About the worst takeaway we’ve ever had....chips looked and were disgusting....fish even worse, inedible. Don’t know how they can sell this food! Yes

I had an absolutely shocking experience. Firstly i ordered myself a Kebab, insisting that only one wouldn’t take so long. After waiting around half an hour for ONE KEBAB I took it upon myself to ask what was the go? To my shock and surprise the lady told me she forget to give the order ticket to the person preparing the food, and telling me to wait an extra 15 minutes. Once I got my food it was soggy and had no flavour whatsoever, the last time i had the same issue. I used to enjoy coming to High Tides but recently somethings happened, whether that’s the laziness between the workers or just not caring about us customers. Once I got my Kebab it wasn’t an extra 15 min it was another 30. I was truly unsatisfied with my time here, i will be telling everyone to avoid coming here, unless they enjoy being disappointed.

Great crumbed scallops and fantastic pizza for only $12 - mon/tues special I think. Better than what we were used to in Hobart!

I recently visited The High Tide on my way to Wynyard and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was cosy and comfortable. The restaurant had a wide selection of food and of softs drinks and other beverages. I was amazed by the choices of foods they have in this small takeway shop.Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quick, delicious meal.

Garbage. Undercooked chips completely inedible. Suspect they are using a cheap air fryer to cook this. Avoid avoid avoid

First pizza was great, next 3 were not very nice. Hit and miss. Under cooked pastry, swimming in sauce. Don't have the toppings you order. Don't order kebabs, not very nice.

Amazing pizzas - volcano was really nice. Also tried fish and chips and scallop - they were great. A must try place for good food with polite staff and service.

I felt as though I had tripped and grazed my tongue on the footpath after trying to eat a few of the rock hard hot chips I was sold.The kebab meat tasted very old and dehydrated.The wait and the 100 flys inside the shop wasn't a highlight either.
