If you need a premium chocolate fix, this French patisserie will surely delight. They sell handmade chocolates and cakes, and can also make larger versions for weddings and special occasions. The chocolate and cream are high quality and rich in flavour. I used to order these for birthday cakes, but then started ordering them throughout the year as 12 months between visits was too long to wait.

Beautiful cake, beautiful chocolate, terrible service! The older woman serving me tried to rush me and she made me feel extremely unwelcome even though I was a paying customer. The younger cashier was lovely and the store itself is beautiful, but really unhappy with the treatment I received.

One of the early suppliers of gluten-free cakes on the North Shore, our family has been buying birthday and celebration cakes from this store for a number of years and the quality is always first-rate. Best to place an order a couple of days before to avoid disappointment if they sell out. Can’t comment on the chocolates, but others rave about them and if they’re half as good as the cakes they’re worth it.

I bought a chocolate mousse cake with biscuit layers for my dad’s birthday here and it was absolutely DIVINE!! The cake was not too sweet and the chocolate flavour was complex with hazelnut and almonds. For high quality chocolates please visit this wonderful local. What a gem!
