This is one of our favourite yum cha places in Sydney and we have been coming for years. The food is freshly prepared, tastes great and is reasonably priced. The service is friendly and polite. The restaurant is also very clean. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Pleasant service at The Dynasty Restaurant. Yum cha is done by selecting choices in a list - no trolleys. We didn't miss the novelty of the trolleys in more traditional yum cha restaurants... the food was fresh & you have the advantage of not waiting for the 'right' trolley which may hold one of your favourite dishes. We ordered 'mini custard tarts'... while the pastry is traditional of the dun (egg) tarts... the custard filling was like a creme brulee type of custard. (Not wrong...but not right.) Apart from dessert not being what we expected, savoury yum cha dishes were enjoyable.

Food is great, have been several times. Simple spring rolls are amazing and all the duck dishes. Need to work on not making people feel rushed to get out or on with the next service. Here's your hat what's your hurry feeling a lot of the time. But the food is that good the rest is manageable.

Located inside the Canterbury Leagues Club. The dim sum dishes are ordered using an ordering form that doesn’t show you how many pieces per serving. The serving was extraordinarily slow. After they took the form, it took them 15-20mins before they put a dish on our table and it was a dessert - the egg tart. And there was always a 10-15mins gap between when each dish was served and the next dish. The food was really so so, all the steamed dumplings were stuck to each other and the moment you picked it up with your chopsticks there is already a big hole on your dumpling. Service was so so, especially with the guy at the entrance who was giving out tickets for the customer to queue up. He didn’t smile and he didn’t want to look at the customer at all.

I love trying new places for Yum Cha. I must say the ambience of this restaurant is lovely. It’s nicely decorated and presented. The wait staff are very attentive. It doesn’t have the food coming on the trolleys. You order on a piece of a4 paper and the wait staff will whisk it away to the kitchen. They’ll leave the bill thingy and mark your dishes ordered on it as soon as you receive them. The food was yummy. My pork football wasn’t hot but it was tasty. I tried a new steamed dumpling dish , it was pork with truffles, it smelled devine , but very similar to the steamed pork ones. I loved the pork spareribs, steamed rolled Rice noodle with beef, mango pancakes, and sticky rice the best. The chicken feet were a different flavour than one you normally get. It’s a little more expensive but I still think Vanh Phat in Cabramatta is the place to go!

This is also one of my top fave yumcha places. The food taste great, hardly any wait time, affordable and there’s underground parking. We also love ordering their seafood, it’s live and fresh. Great place to bring families especially if you have kids, there is a small play area around

The Yum Cha here is great! They offer a nice selection of dishes which are made to order. The service is fast and responsive. Beautiful seating arrangement inside.

I wish I read the recent reviews before going again. Ordering Yum Cha from ticking a menu instead of experiencing the ongoing trolleys and looking at the food variety is no longer enjoyable. The mango pancake should not be served before steamed prawn dumplings!

Awful experience...first off no trolleys. Secondly, we were told that we ordered too much food for 15 people all because we wanted a dumpling each. We were demanded to change our order, and then this was never taken into account of our 1hr 30min booking time.We were then not given all our food from our amended order because our time was up, there were minimal people waiting and a number of free tables. Would not recommended at all.Then for them to ask for a tip, appalling.Would give 0 stars if I could.
