Small but lovely place to visit, few seating areas, nice to have a picnic. Few BBQs. Walking bush tracks. Nice area to have a swim.

How enjoyable is this great little beach like area on the dam. There is updated facilities. There is large toilets for changing and big enough for wheelchairs. There is a water fountain, a dog poo bag dispenser if you've come with out them and plenty of bins around for rubbish. There are BBQ's and covered seating with tables for families to enjoy. The swimming area is a large cordoned off area from the rest of the dam. On the outside of this area kayaks are aplenty. With a special kayak launch area to the side of the swimming area. Then when finished you can wash your kayaks in the specific wash area.Dog friendly walks through the forest are really enjoyable, then they can relax by the water and have a swim too.Definately a great little area to enjoy the day with friends and family.

Plenty of space for picnic with fantastic views. (Modern BBQs available, however limited amount. Turn over for shared use is fairly prompt. Be patient. Lol)Swimming and water related shenanigans are constant.*** PLEASE READ THE POSTED SIGNS ON SITE IN REGARDS TO SWIMMING AND WATER ACTIVITIES***Family friendly and everyone in between.

Great place to go for a little bush walk and swim. Was great you can take your dog on a leash, unfortunately they can’t go in the water.

This boardwalk is part of an extensive bush walk circuit. We walked 10km return today, but can easily do more (up to 18-20km return) or less. Plenty of space, shady so great even in summer. Mostly flat. A few inclines included.

Walked up to the pink loop but could have gone further. I think you should plan to swim or do a bush walk but not both. The bush walk is for able bodied persons only.If bushwalking bring the dog as they are allowed on lead.If swimming perhaps leave the dog at home as they must be on lead.If walking please be mindful that there are local neighbouring properties so best keep a noise to tolerable levels.I think a worthwhile visit. Multiple trips required.
