Made contact via telephone to explain that I had recently had back surgery and wanted to look at recliners, David was expecting me, he saw me walk in greeted me with a smile and a handshake. Spent a good 45 mins with me while i was being indecisive and asking questions. His knowledge of all of the chairs is fantastic and wasnt just trying to sell me something. I ended up making a purchase based on his suggestions (regardless of the long delivery time, not their fault) David was absolutely Fantastic. Thank you for your patience and taking the time to help me at a time when I really need help.If you read this David I expect to still get my stubby cooler haha

We purchased a leather La Z Boy suite with recliners.One developed a problem with the upholstery filling.Wasn't too serious, but made the leather look a bit 'baggy'.Before it developed any further I popped off an email to report it.Received a phone call from Karyn who was proactive in wanting to know more.I was asked to send photo's which I did and she arranged with La Z Boy for my recliner to be taken away and be repaired without any more questions.It went and was returned within 4 days, all fixed... or so it seemed.Six weeks later the problem began to reappear.I reported it again and this time advised I was not confident with the upholsterers that La Z Boy are using. They offered a new replacement but the supply time of 14 weeks was too long.Instead I was offered a complete refund.Absolutely brilliant service from a family owned company that has survived for over 80 years, you can understand why.

Best Lazy Boy seller in Adelaide! We went to every Lazy Boy retailer in Adelaide. Jaffers not only had the best price by far, they were so much friendlier. Also good to support a family business who also does upholstery repairs.

Late last year we purchased goods at Jaffers Furniture and received outstanding service during several visits. Recently we discovered that one of the items was not operating correctly. Despite several attempts by the manufacturers agent to rectify the problem, the problem remained. I contacted Jaffers to seek advice & assistance, spoke with David the manager and followed up with an email. We were pleasantly surprised and grateful for his intervention in communicating with the manufacturer on our behalf. Outstanding after sales service and the item was replaced with new furniture without any fuss. Thanks David for your commitment and promise to ensure complete satisfaction. You certainly went above & beyond, well done & thankyou.

Bought a Lazy boy recliner about 14 months ago had problems from the beginning with noises and back loose.Got in touch with Jaffers and they sent someone out and all he was interested in was getting the number and going.He said it would get better but never did so when the back got worse and the foam got flat in the back they took it away to fix it.When I got it back the foam was fixed but the back movement was unacceptable.After talking to Jaffers he said he would call in next day and have a look himself.When he arrived next day I found out it was Ben Jaffer grandson of the founder.He had a look and said it looks ok to him and left.After a lot of searching for a number for lazy boy I had to start a review to get them to talk to me about it.After a few emails we come to the agreement to swap the chair for the one they had in the showroom and that one works a lot better.When Jaffers started off it was good service and now what I can see is when son and now the grandson is taking over the customer care is going down hill.The quality of the product is all so going down hill and I will never buy anything from Jaffers again or lazy boy products.Very disappointed from friendly staff to be let down by management.

Thought I was buying quality. Don't be fooled.Part of the reason we purchased these lounges was because of the La-Z-Boy name - that was a mistake.We purchased 3 seater 2 seater and 2 single recliners in February 2023. Cost over $10,000 after discounts. They weren't tested on delivery and the first time we plugged in and tried them one if the mechanism was obviously faulty. It made a clunking noise and seemed to get stuck on the way up and down. We reported to the store and a technician came. He said he had seen this issue before and should be able to fix it onsite when the part arrives. Five weeks have passed and we haven't heard a word and will now have to chase up what's happening. In the meantime the same thing seems to be wrong with the other couch which has barely been used. We have yet to test out the quality of repair service but this is obviously a major design fault and they will probably fix this one too but I am so disappointed. This lounge suit was to last us a long time and I can't see that happening when they start off breaking. I just want to return it all and be refunded. I don't want the hassle of non stop repairs or fighting for repairs. These chairs are not fit for purpose under Australian consumer laws. Just to add that it is embarrassing to have visitors who know how much this lounge suite costs and to witness its poor quality.Update still not repaired 3mths later. So basically I have a $15000 lounge suit that is unusable. Not fit for purpose. After doing the rounds of the major outlets, and a bad experience with a major outlet, we thought that we would try Jaffers and found what we were looking for immediately. In addition it was made locally with delivery in 3 weeks not 11-13 quoted by some outlets. Simon in particular was extremely helpful. Thanks and no hesitation recommending you.
