Yoga Dojo - Geelong

I first came to Yoga Dojo as I had heard great things about the place from my partner... There are great teachers, very welcoming to all body shapes and sizes, ages, genders, and abilities - a fantastic come as you are attitude. It isn't about looking pretty either, it is about connecting as a group - practicing yoga, learning and laughing in a supportive environment. I try to get to classes most days.Although I must admit to initially thinking the chanting was a bit strange and meditation was a waste of time, within no time I was hooked. Yoga is not all about postures/asana, it's a complete package and way of life.I was actually so inspired by Yoga Dojo & the Jivamukti style of yoga that I recently attended a teacher training, and now also teach at the Studio.Thanks especially to Jess, Meg, and Adrienne for inspiring me to embrace a regular spiritual practice and take it out into the world. Great Space, very friendly people. I've been trying to get into yoga for awhile now, been to a few places. These guys really made me feel welcome and were so accommodating for a newbie like myself. Highly Highly recommend

Fantastic studio with great community vibes! Everyone is super friendly, fun and down to earth. I took a beginners course here about 3 years ago with no idea what I was doing, and have since transitioned into a regular yoga practice under the guidance of some of the great teachers here. Teaching is of a great quality and leaves me feeling empowered, challenged, restored and cared for in every class.
