I have been attending Yogaphysio for about 5 years and can thoroughly recommend the teachers and the classes. I go to both Tam's and Sonia's classes and have been to Jamie's and they are all great knowledgeable teachers. I am still in the beginners because there is still such a lot to learn and I am still working on all of those poses! I find that doing yoga once or twice a week helps me with strengthening and flexibility and helps to keep my backache at bay. Also it is a good antidote to cycling or walking which may not work all the muscle groups.

I have been attending Yogaphysio classes and retreats for 6 years. I am an experienced yogi and find Tam's teaching supports all levels. Tam specifically caters for individuals needs whilst creating a shared experience. The retreats provide the perfect balance of yoga, meditation, introspection and philosophy, all in a magical setting 'Paradise One'. Its part of my yearly re-charge program that I wouldn't miss.

I am finally getting around to writing this review!! I last saw Tamara approximately two years ago, but I believe that visit and the advice she gave me were life-changing. I was experiencing a flare-up of back pain and my G.P. wanted me to have more back surgery and had written the referral. But I went and saw Tamara instead and her advice was that, of course I could have the surgery, but if I did, I would still need to get stronger. She helped me to realise that, after many years of chronic back-pain, which led me to severely limit exercise, and extensive surgeries for Endometriosis, I had become quite weak. Surgery might be a quick-fix, but I would still need to do the hard work of strengthening my muscles. Something else she said, also helped me to heal emotionally and spiritually from all the surgery which I had had for Endometriosis, resulting in the removal of my ovaries, Fallopian tubes, uterus, appendix, adhesions and growths the size of golf-balls. Tamara said that the essence of who I was remained intact. She also helped me to understand more about chronic pain and gave me some simple strengthening exercises to do. I didn't need to have the back-surgery and do those simple exercises every day and attend a weekly exercise class.
