I was referred to Shine Tech Solar by a friend who also had a system installed a few years ago. Receiving prices and quotes from Gavin was straight forward and very responsive pre-installation, this was all done over email due to COVID.I received numerous quote from different solar companies and shopped around. Using reputation, Solar Quotes and Whirlpool forums as a reference point, I eventually chose Shine Tech as I wanted to support a local company, even though they were a little more expensive than competitors.Installation appeared to be sub-contracted to Willo Electrical. Installation on the day went well and the installers were very careful due to COVID restrictions. Unfortunately, I did not get all 21 panels on the roof due to space, however a different configuration may have achieved this. System has been performing quite well regardless.Post sales support has been average, I reached out to Shine Tech Solar on multiple occasions about different items, including a $100 referral gift card that was promised in multiple emails but never arrived. I have tried to contact Gavin and Nick several times post install, it took several emails, phone calls and Facebook messages to get a reply. It has been a disappointing experience, given the responsiveness pre-installation.Shine Tech Solar's website is now down, email's are bouncing and their phone number is going straight to an automated reply.

Shine Tech solar - cant recommended. For new solar system was good and good dealBUT be careful! I had wrong configuration of string and system work just on half panels. Lucky I’ve got knowledge about electronics and I figured myself whats wrong. I tried sort it out with Shinetech solar and after 3weeks still not fixed!Hope that is not many client like me!And future more I asked on the beginning to hook up also old system on other house. Install new solar system was good but other still not happened after 3months. They promising but nothing done. I waste money for new system if the old one will be not hoop up on my other house. Which has been verbally promised that they can install old system on other house. As for ethical company they should say “ with old system could be problem to install “ and I’ll not buy- replace 5y old functional old system. I don’t push do something illegal. Sales man promised everything for buy new system. Thats my experience and I’m very disappointed about it. And I would like to know to other people!

had a system installed at my place recently after my old system failed and previous company went bust.Shine Tech were extremely helpful in replacing with a premium system with better warranties for my peace of mind.Nick in the office is super helpful too.

Top quality install from these guys. It was a very easy process from start to finish and i would highly recommend.
