WORST FURNITURE REMOVALS EXPERIENCE EVER WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HAVING ANYTHING TO DO WITH HORNICKS FURNITURE REMOVALS MACKAY ABSOLUTE. DISGRACE AND DEFINITELY CANT LET THIS HAPPEN TO ANOTHER FAMILYNo respect whatsoever for customers furniture and personal belongings. Hornicks will do absolutely anything in there power to avoid owning responsibility for damages that they caused even refused to repair or replace a single thing and now will not respond reply to any communication. Staff members are extremely rude and most definitely highly inexperienced in performing a removal service to a so called high standard that they claim. We had four members of there staff turn up on our uplift day with two trucks within 5 mins of arriving there so called highly experienced driver with 10+ years driving experience and 10+ years as expert loader had reversed the truck into our house causing extensive damage to our roof and guttering and cracked the wall of house and then aggressively denied any involvement in it and had the audacity to then advise me that the damages looked 12 months old and was very unhappy and shocked that we questioned his years of driving experience. During the course of the day 2 of the staff members older gentlemen had made 2 adult females and a 17 yr old girl that uncomfortable and extremely creeped out they were forced to leave the house due to concerns for there safety. We contacted the office and got the rudest receptionist who refused to take complaint seriously and advised that there is not a chance this would have occurred as the staff members are of high standards. The business owners would not return the numerous attempts to report or even have the respect to call or acknowledge the severity of the situation. I have recently discovered that this situation is a frequent complaint made about staff members from Hornicks. I would also like to advise that hornicks furniture Removals is also conducting jobs for other well known Australian wide furniture Removal companies who have Australian Government contracts. I would highly recommend not to have any dealings or having any business associated with them doing your removal or most of all being inside your house. Absolute disgrace and a huge let down to the furniture Removal industry.

Just moved locally with Hornicks. Staff was fantastic to deal with, will definitely use again.

Nev & Mick made light work out of what I thought would be a fairly difficult job. Friendly, polite, price was good.Would use them again.

Paid $44 for a second box for cloths .than found out they were$18 new at fortknox and office works. So they never got my removal business.

Don't use Hornicks removalist they will break your goods and not replace them.

Very bad communication, never again. Was told two day turn around - turned into over two weeks with constant lying from the office as to where our furniture was. Absolutely appalling. Nev the driver is the only positive thing I found with this company, he was great.

Am so disappointed in Hornicks Removals Mackay. Have used this company before with nil problems. Rang for a quote - was not informed I would have to itemize every single item or dismantle beds, cover mattresses and wrap glass shelves. They were late for the agreed time start - Nil apologies. I did go over the agreed truck space but was assured by the driver it was not problem. The truck departed and approx' 10 minutes later I got a phone call stating the truck was parked on the side of the road and I would have to pay for the extra space. I would not have minded paying for the extra space but why was this not discussed before the truck left and parked down the road out of sight. Was I held to ransom? Their PR skills leave a lot to be desired.At no time did I have any concerns with how my possessions were packed and unpacked.

This company did a amazing job of not only moving her furniture and personal goods from Mackay to Tugun, but also provided safe storage for all her stuff while she was still trying to secure a new rental in Gold Coast/Tweeds (which was a horrendous experience). The Hornick's movers were efficient, careful and wrapped each big item very well, including the double door fridge. Nothing was damaged or lost either. Previous movers, National Removals, who moved them from Brisbane to Mackay, were really bad. Damaged a lot of items, including baby's brand new expensive cot. But Hornick's staff took really good care of everything. Fantastic team and at reasonable pricing. Highly recommend them.
