The service Synergy offers for those embarking on a structural renovation is essential to ensure the project is kept on track & does not become overwhelming. Everyone of the Synergy team treated us with respect & provided excellent service. Unfortunately, part way through our planning process the builder we chose insisted we cut ties with Synergy as it would make it easier for him if he didn’t have to deal with designers. Doing this turned into a nightmare for us. We would not hesitate to use Synergy again as through experience we realise how valuable this team is & we would have saved ourselves all the grief we experienced going it alone with our builder.

I have been working with Anthony and the Synergy team for years. If find Synergy to be very professional and knowledgeable of the codes. Their drawings are easy to read and I am amazed how they can always find a solution that not only meets council's requirements but work with the owner's vision of what their building should look like and how it should function.

My wife and i have owner built our home in Brisbane over the past few years. We initially engaged Synergy Building Design in the design phase and have had a good working relationship with them throughout. Anthony and Aaron have been great to deal with and have interpreted our needs, dreams and desires exactly as we requested. We had an overall average experience with Synergy. I would not recommend them given the number of other designers across Brisbane delivering more quality services.We had to terminate them based on a multitude of challenges with their approach to meeting the design and also due to overall management of the project. We also felt on several occasions that we were just another number because they were using the materials developed for Instagram content to help growth.Throughout the engagement they had very poor time management (taking over 8 weeks to process any feedback each time), and very poor communication.During contract engagement we also noticed a very sneaky time and materials clause which I questioned them on, which they said had never occurred before. However after 2 meetings and revisions they moved us into Time and Materials, and wanted to bill us accordingly without any real basis. This had no formal communication that we are enterring T&M. This resulted in the plans virtually being held against us and with an inability to proceed unless we accepted.Not the type of outcome you want when spending >$25k on designs, when you want a company who can actually interpret & develop a satisfactory outcome and approaches their service with professionalism.My partner and I are on our 5th house between us that we have had designed and built, and it has been our worst experience to date, and we wish we had returned to prior designers who gave exceptional results at a similar price point.

Synergy were instrumental in helping to create, my beautiful home.I gave them an outline of what I was wanting and we went from there.They skilfully navigated all the changes and details required to achieve this end product and that was a considerable feat, but well worth the effort.We have achieved a home which is both eclectically very pleasing as well as very functional. It is just a great space to be in and isn't that what we all want!Anthony and his team were very good at communicating and nothing was too much trouble.I have no hesitate in recommending Synergy for your next project.
