I honestly cannot recommend Stephen McLean from Woodpecker highly enough, I've had a fantastic experience from start to finish. From my initial attendance to their store, where I first met Stephen, I was assisted greatly in ascertaining what the right product would be for me. The quoting process was straightforward and clear, the installation was professional, neat and done in a timely manner, the installers even took extra time out to go over the location and options to make sure I was super happy. Stephen’s after sales service has been second to none. The product is absolutely divine and great value, I am extremely pleased and I am already in contact for a second inbuilt fireplace !!!

Stephen was awesome from start to finish. Took the time to understand what my requirements were, talked through the best option to suit, delivered on timed and followed up to make sure I was happy with the installation. Really happy with the new unit coming into the summer months! Thank you :)

Both the Sales and Installation Team were fantastic, we purchased the Escea frameless heater and it is fantastic. The Installation Team were great with work completed with the times advised and they cleaned up and took away the old heater which was great too. Thoroughly recommend. Pictures before and after and what a difference.

Recently purchased a new Daikin split system, I dealt with Stephen who was knowledgeable and very professional he walked through the whole process and explained everything from start to finish, even explaining that I didn't require a unit size that another company had quoted me. He ended up saving me money and the system works perfectly, even attending site after the installation to go through the functions on the remote that I was having trouble working out. Highly recommended.

Defective product and Appalling customer service!We purchased an axis double sided wood heater from woodpecker. On the first night we used the fire place, the paint went soft and peeled off. We followed the instructions in the manual precisely. When we contacted Woodpecker, they straight away said it was our fault, accusing us of not following the instruction manual and refusing to rectify the problem. They had no idea what process we had followed- they just went to default refusal and blaming their customer! We followed the instructions precisely and took photos of the small burn as described in manual. We continued to request the unit be repaired and discuss the matter with woodpecker. We produced a copy of our licenced plumbers installation certificate and they claim that whilst he had the wrong type of licence and that our warranty is void?! How the type of registration a plumber has is relevant to paint peeling off is absurd????Woodpecker have been rude, dishonest and billigerant and will not do anything to stand by their defective product (which at $10,000, is one of the most expensive on the market). We are now wasting our time and money off to a VCAT hearing to resolve this issue and get an order to direct Woodpecker to fix their faulty product.Do not do business from woodpecker- they do not stand by their product and treat their customers with absolute contempt!
