Australia Post - Chelsea Post Shop

I was served by Tam today and without a doubt she was the most helpful Aus Post employee I’ve ever interacted with. She did not rush, she identified I was obviously a small business owner and took the time to ensure I was getting the most benefit from an aus post business account. I have been attending various post shops on an almost daily basis and this is the first time someone has stopped to make sure I’m getting the most benefit from my postage. Thank you so much Chelsea Post Shop and Tam! It definitely pays to keep it local!

ONLY OPEN MON-FRI 9AM-5PM! HOW THE HECK AM I GOING TO PICK UP A PARCEL THAT COULD HAVE JUST BEEN LEFT ON MY PORCH?!

Were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond when we had to return an item with scant details from the supplier. Thank you ladies. Watching the care and attention you show to elderly customers was also heartwarming.

Terrible service from all areas, the posties will fail to deliver without trying as they don't ring doorbells even if you are home, you then come to collect your parcel and are treated horribly like you are some huge burden on their day. The staff are not helpful in the slightest when asking for advice and don't listen when you try to explain things which leaves them fluffing around and taking 10x longer than necessary to complete a task as simple as fetching a parcel from the back.

While I’ve had one or two times at this post office that have been pleasant, 90% of my interactions have left me feeling like I’m a burden to staff simply for wanting to pick up parcels.This post office would also take the cake for worst opening hours. Unless you’re retired or work from home you basically have to take a day off work to get there.I’ve specifically set up my MyPost account to ensure no parcels are delivered to The Strand anymore as I’ve found the Chelsea Heights Office SO much more friendly, accomodating and despite having closing times of 5:30 are often open past 6 and happy to help.Unfortunately I still get the occasional parcel sent to The Strand and have to deal with standing in lines only then to be served by someone who makes it clear to me that they would rather be anywhere else.Genuinely hope this post office can turn it around though. Chelsea has such a rich and warm community. This PO just doesn’t fit there.

Rude, discourteous staff. Worst post office l have ever been too. Miserable, sad people behind the counter who make the experience very unpleasant. Time to complain to Aussie Post about the disgraceful customer service and maybe getting these poor performing people some basic training starting with how to treat people with respect.

The ladies here always provide a great service. The last visit they made the passport process stress free even with a tricky 3 week old’s photos.Thanks heaps!

I'm disabled, up till a few months ago, the ladies (customer service) would help me load my bag with parcels and larger ones they carried out to my car. But three months ago the staff changed, I presume new management, they aren't helpful

Had a fantastic experience today getting passport photos for my family.My son was apprehensive and unsure of having his photo taken, but Paul and the staff did such an amazing job.They were so patient and calm, exactly what we needed to get the shot. Very happy!

Worse shop hours of any post shop, have to take time off work to pick up, even though I was home when the courier claimed they tried to deliver, then the text comes through at 5.02pm to say collect for post shop closes at 5pm.
