The absolute go to hairdressers on the coast (Especially Mel, she works actual miracles) I won’t be going anywhere else, great price and an amazing team! 10/10 recommend to any and all

Jaala was lovely, kind and professional when she cut my hair into a short style. The cut was perfect and suits me. Very happy with Jaala and will definitely go back. The salon has a coffee shop up front and hairdresser in the back. It is open and cool even in summer. Enjoyed my head massage and extra care taken and products used to give my hair shine. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Went to just get my roots done . What cost me $100 in Sydney UNTAMED HAIR were charging me $230.Upon querying the cost I was informed i was given a roots package . I stood my ground , all i wanted was my roots done no package.Its on there now I was told to which I replied I didn't ask for a package, I don't mind paying if that is what I asked for, but I refuse to be upsold for something I don't need.End result was the roots cost me $150, and what should have been a medium blonde is now black.Only good thing is I won't be back.

Update:After consulting a few hairdressers I was quoted around $300 for one of multiple sessions needed to fix my hair. Thus, I went back to untamed to see what can be done. I really wanted to just delete this review & move on with my life but going back confirmed all the anxiety I had walking back in. (I want to mention this review is not a reflection on any of the other stylists who had stayed back late to help & were so unbelievably kind). Going in with the mindset that I want to move past the online communication & simply focus on the problem at hand - my stylist did not have this same approach. Her hostility made me cry to which her response at first was Do not cry there are other customers around". The conversation progressed & she began warming up. She explained the reason her boss was so defensive & aggressive from the get go was that they are frustrated with multiple customers trying to scam their business with refunds. I’m not very good at explaining hair but Mel listened and took what little information I had and achieved the exact hair colour I have been wanting for so long. I have been to many salons on the coast looking for the right hairdresser and Im so glade I found you. I am once again loving my hair and I have you to thank for that. Mel is my new go-to hair colourist! She is such a warm and bubbly spirit and makes the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. She knows exactly what to do with my hair and nails it every time. I have never received this many compliments on my hair before until Mel started working her magic. Couldn’t recommend her more!

I came to this salon for the first time yesterday after my hairdresser Sarah moved here. The salon feeling was awesome, so raw and trendy. Sarah once again has done a great job on my hair and all staff were so super friendly and helpful! Especially Carissa the owner who even rocked my baby to sleep so I could enjoy my shampoo and head massage! Was such a pleasant experience ❤

After my old hairdresser left the area she recommended me to Jaala for my next cut and colour. I was so incredibly happy with the entire experience. Jaala took the time to talk everything over with me before she got started, and was an absolute ray of sunshine. I got a style cut and colour that came out exactly how I wanted, but somehow better. I left the salon feeling like an absolute godess, and now I can't wait to go back. Thank you so much!

I love visiting the Untamed girls for a fresh colour and cut, they never disappoint. I always walk out of the salon feeling so much happier and refreshed after a visit. Thankyou for always making my hair experience feel so special. It’s the small touches they add to their services that make the experience feel lively - they are professional and encouraging and I always see happy clients around me too. I can not express my love enough for these ladies and Josh of course! They are all so bubbly and friendly, make every visit better then the last. Not only do they work absolute magic on my hair but they are always up for a chat and I honestly have gotten to know these girls so well over the past year and a bit that I have been visiting. My queen Jaala is nothing but an absolute stunner and never disappoints, she’s always got clients in the salon left, right and centre but somehow manages to give her undivided attention to all.
