Absolutely Altered And Tailored

Irene measured and altered my suit and my entire groom's party suits for my wedding. She did it quickly, with responsible pricing and with many and varied requests from us as we were a bit picky with what we wanted! Couldn't be happier with her work, highly recommend coming to Irene for any alterations you might need done!

I recently purchased a vintage Chanel jacket that was several sizes too big for me....Irene was absolutely incredible and resized it to fit me. Irene's attention to detail was phenomenal and it was not an easy job. When I first took it to her I was worried that she would say it would be impossible to alter, but she did not even hesitate, she just got her pins out and went to work. The jacket was tweed with intricate beading through the entire piece, and a delicate silk lining. Irene altered the entire jacket, including sleeves, to fit me perfectly. It must have been a painstaking job with all the bead work and I am so impressed at her work, you cannot even tell it has been altered. I wouldn't hesitate to take her any of my high end pieces for alteration.

Highly recommended! I would give 6 stars if I could. Irene is such a gem in Melbourne. I have been a client for more than a year now. I had my wedding dress altered the first time I went to her shop, must say she did an incredibly superb job, fixed the zipper at the back, adjusted the hem, and voila — the dress was just perfect. Irene pays attention to details, she will also ask you if you are happy with the length or whatever you want to adjust. She charged me very reasonably. I was quoted double in other shops! So if you want quality work for a decent price, this is the place to be! Irene is also very nice, accommodating and always after her client’s satisfaction. Since then, I always go back to her shop for any alterations.

Irene is amazing, she altered the sleeves of a vintage Burberry trench I found that had them shortened. She managed to find enough material to do it seamlessly. While it was a tricky job she only charged what she quoted initially. She's a gem, I recommend!
