Even if you don’t appreciate art, do visit just to have a chat with John. He’s very experienced and has a lot of local tips that he’ll share with you. Lovely collection of cars too! He does tours in the local area. If you’re interested, do call ahead and book one

John is a lovely man who has a lot of knowledge about the local area and is always willing to give visitors an insight into the highlights and tours of what Dunolly has to offer. His studio is even better with a very spacious collection of works and projects developed overtime with even the option to purchase some of his amazing works! Alvah Art Gallery is the prime definition of beauty done at it's finest with a large collection of excellent work painted locally, as well as historic European sites with a great artist and tourist guide at the centre of it all!
