what the hell is going on???? My daughter brought her car in on the 5th of March for a rego check. Her car needed tyres so they gave it a failed notice. She got the new tyres and started ringing to make an appointment to come back to get the rego papers.She has been phoning and driving past because noone answers the phone.Her rego has now run out! I have been phoning and no other mechanic will look at the car because of the failed slip by discount tyres and automotive.I'm lost as what to do.Have you gone broke, why won't you phone?My daughter needs her car for uni in newie and obvious other reasons.All I need to do is send a photo of her car with the new tyres so you can see them then send the rego notice to the rms so we can pay and get this problem sorted.It may not be a problem to you, but it is a HUGE inconvenience to us!!!

honest reviewbroke my wipers after changing the blades (which wasn't needed or wanted)after taking it back was told 'its an old car things are going to break' and decided to put on smaller (too small) wiper blades on which did nothingand was left having to argue that they had broken it.the apprentice fixed it after the supervising mechanic left to tell the repco parts delivery guy 'the customers always f**ng know better'thought they were chill seemed good was a little annoyed about them changing the blades but obviously didn't find out they were rooted till it RAINED...Was also flat out lied to and told my tail shaft could snap and catapult my car into the air as if i was completely stupid.i dont like badmouthing people but this was well deserved

Often I go to mechanics/automotive services and am made to feel like an idiot for not knowing enough about the workings of my car. The guys are Discount Tyres and Automotive Tuggerah are so friendly and helpful, and my two experiences there have been very pleasant. They provide high level services and products at competitive rates. I would definitely recommend this business to my family and friends.

I used to live on the coast, and found out about this gem of a workshop a few years back. Now I bring my cerato up from Canberra every time a service is due. The guys who work there are on top of their game and even took the time to explain to me how the part I needed would fix the issue my car was having. They always try to fit in my car so its convenient for me and they do the best pricing around (cars aren't cheap but you know every dollar is worth it when you come to places like this!). Don't bother fluffing around with dealerships who want to upsell you things, go here!
