Just had a huge home made sausage roll with mash potato and bacon on top. Omg it was delightful and filling up. Only $5.I also had a beef and homemade kidney pie before they’re just to die for.One of the best pie shop so far along the east coast.

We bought 2 apple juices a bottle of sarsaparilla and a hotdog for our 2 young Grandsons. The bun was so stale & hard and hotdog was cold, they wouldn’t eat it. Very disappointed and it was 11:45 and the Bain-Marie was empty for a pie shop, the hotdog was their special on a blackboard. Would not stop here again.

I love a good pie, unfortunately this wasn't - pastry was dry and the curry chicken filing was dry also. I think it was old enough to have had a birthday !!

Quite disappointing pies. I had the chicken curry pie which was lacking flavour and had a soggy base. My son had the bacon and cheese pie and commented that a four n twenty is better. My daughter had the sausage roll, took one bite and didn't want any more. Very expensive for what they are.

A gem of a cafe. Just off the main highway. Country service and tasty meals.Plenty of food options for the whole family. Public loo’s across the road and space to park the caravan.

Ok, dropped in here as it stands out as a place catered for travellers. So much work has been put into this place. Heaps of sitting room inside. Very friendly lady at counter who was busy yet lovely. So much memorabilia on the walls to check out. Excellent off road parking for caravans etc.5 stars for above reasons.1 star for below reasons.Ordered a large coffee. It tasted like heated milky water, bland and $5.50...a wee bit over priced for a terrible coffee.Ordered a bacon and egg toasted sandwich. Bacon was overcooked and on the chewy side. Egg was over cooked as well. Bread wasn't the best.?$12 for the lot.Sadly I visit many places and order coffee + bac/egg toasted sandwich so this is a way I compare. IT ISN'T REFLECTIVE OF THE ENTIRE MENU.Such a pity. A little bit of feedback to improve coffee quality and bacon/egg sandwiches would make this place so much better. Please owners, this is a wonderful place and your work and attention to detail of the shop is impeccable. So feedback is only intended to improve.Sincerely,Dave

We’re travelling Australia and we’re seeing “best pies in Qld” and you wonder if this is actually true..but this place HAS LITERALLY THE BEST sausage rolls in Qld, and even the world. They’re beef which as a Brit seems odd but oh wow it works! Great rest stop on a road trip, super friendly staff.
