Went in there with the possibility of probably buying another laptop.More of a look and see expedition to see what they might have had in their line up.Worth a look if nothing else.It came down to the choice of two.Wasn't totally convinced by either to be honest and needed to think on it.A salesperson came along - obviously thought they were going to push me into buying which doesn't work on me AT ALL (if it's not something I am totally convinced of, a team of working bullocks won't push me across the line).This salesperson tried every trick in the book and must have thought they were being so clever (which they werent) and just ended up making me really dig my toes in.They did not listen very well and they missed a lot of detail in our discussion on various levels.As a result the wallet snapped shut and I have not replaced it yet. It won't be happening through Harvey Norman either.Really poor old school pushy sales techniques that are offensive and extremely transparent and the whole discussion became about their attempting to get me to buy, not about giving me the space to make my own decision.

Helpful and friendly staff, you can find good deals sometimes here with a lot of different products. Lots of options in tv unuts, bed ans coaches

The product guarantee is a pinch with the product cost but it comes in handy. Good customer service if you can find the store person FREE. They are always busy.

Horrible experience after buying a faulty lamp table which cracked while being assembled. Customer service manager Helen Hunter was unhelpful in the end. Clearly a dodgy supplier who doesn't want to own up and replace but HV has to take responsibility for selling such product.Followed every instructrion meticulously but the faulty product which seems to have been glued excessively at the corner which cracked. This was the second similar lamp table we bought, first one was fine.Worst part is every time I enquire about the progress of the service token, manager says she will get back, but no follow up even after months since purchasing. I have to call her every time, she never gets back after promising multiple times.I am having to throw this away as clearly it is not safe with kids around.Over the years, have bought so many things from this store and in general from HV branches. Not buying anything from HV ever again.

Most ridiculous experience, I called up before I went into the store since I bought a iPad case with keyboard for my Uni prac which I don’t use in my free times. One of the key is broken from the inside so when I brought the product into the store the Technician accused me saying that I told him it has fallen on the call which is not true, I was defending myself but he kept going on with his accusation which makes me furious. I’m sure all calls are record and they can easily track back.

Staff are attentive and friendly!They have a heap of everything (literally!) - from furniture like bed, sofa, desk and chair also electronics like phone, fridge, TV and washing machine etc...

I have been a customer for many years and there is a lot of stock to choose from and the staff are generally easy to deal with, however when something goes wrong with your purchase, there is no one there to help you.You get sent from to the manufacturer and back to the store, and this goes on for weeks as no one wants to take responsibility or deal with the issue, it is extremely frustrating.You can't call the store and speak to the manager, you are asked to call head office in the eastern states - it is not really good enough when you are in Perth and you purchased your product in Perth.After being a long customer for many years, I am seriously thinking of taking my business else where as I do not want to go through another disappointing customer service experience when something goes wrong - very poor Harvey Norman Cannington.

I spent $1800 on a heat pump dryer and $400 on a bar fridge at Harvey Norman. I feel within 60 seconds both times we had a repapproach us and ask if we needed help. That was excellent service.For a comparison view check my review for Good Guys Cannington

I brought the modern TV unit in March. Paid in full and given it is Harvey Norman and expensive unit, I was expecting a good quality. However the unit came damaged. I raised the complaint, sent the pictures, emails, made calls few times, but haven’t got anywhere as yet. Now I am actually questioning whether the damaged unit was sold on purpose. And question is what I am going to do? Complaining seems going nowhere.I heavily recommend to avoid this store specifically.
