Awesome, great spot, great host, great cuppas..... Best place to recharge..

Awesome experience in the middle of the Tarkine. We and our friends drove in carefully in two normal cars and it was fine. Coffee machine and pods, and great kitchen with everything you need except we could not quite assemble the blender (we only tried for a couple of minutes). Beds and mattresses are great ( I get a bad back otherwise). Best to plan on staying in and bring food, drinks, and provisions unless you have a four-wheel drive that w would allow you to duck in and out. Our two couples enjoyed playing cribbage and bananagrams provided (as well as quite a few other games). TV was excellent 65 inch (?) 4k which we hooked up to a google chromecast ' google Tv' ( you will need an extension cord to plug it in) and an external hard drive. You coukd just enter your own netfkix, dusney, prome video subscriptions and remember to remove them before leaving. WiFi solid 50 Mbps. Walks in the forest were great but be careful to follow the pink guide ribbons and keep the glow of sunlight from the open paddocks nearby -- First check the map of walks on the wall near the complimentary whiskey (!). The forest is of a type that is officially classified as ' park-like' which is as wonderful as it sounds but means that EVERYWHERE looks like a path due to the lack of undergrowth under the tight canopy. Once the pink ribbons marking the path disappeared we had to climb out on a fence (barbed wire top strand!) only to see we were about 200 metres from the end ( we could have just back-tracked). Man-ferns and giant myrtles and gums show how little it has changed since the dinosaurs. Mother and baby pademelon (furry little wallabies) around the building were too cute for words. A great experience. Found my sunglasses and texted me then sent them to me carefully wrapped. A must-do in Tasmania.
