Grilled fish advertised as John Dory but I have had john dory before - it is very wide, flat and flaky. This is not what I received - I suspect the fish served was actually basa (a lot of fish shops actually do this which is disappointing). Apart from this being misleading the food was tasty

Rather a long wait for a simple order of fish chips and fishcake, almost twenty minutes, no other customers seemed to be around, so what caused the delay was not apparent. Portions were of a decent size, however the chips had a texture rather like thin cardboard filled with cotton fluff, they were dry and not at all enjoyable, the fish looked nice, but was far too salty, the fishcake was perfectly acceptable and nice to eat.

Every time I visit Sydney, I make a point to get lunch here at least once. The quality of the fish and chips is always superb and the serving size is great for the price!
