Owner was super friendly, got us in quickly right at the end of the day. Fixed up our window chip in 10 minutes and sent us on our way with some suggestions for exploring Hay. Would definitely recommend, great value for the job as well.

We broke down on our journey from Adelaide toSydney. Phil was recommended as the only Mechanic in Hay to work on our European model car. Luckily we had two vehicles so we weren’t stranded. It was the week before Christmas and Phil was extremely helpful and although he could not fix it on the spot as he needed to order parts in, we arranged to pickup the car in the first week of the year. Phil keep us informed throughout the entire process and was highly professional in every way. Phil and his team did an excellent job on the car and gave us a very fair price. If I didn’t live 9 hours away, I would use Phil as my routine mechanic!

Don't hesitate not to use this business, they are unreliable, untrustworthy and aggressive. They literally stalked me for my money before I even had my car back, threatening me with texts, phone calls and personal checks around town! Hay is a town with many kind and helpful people these people seem only out to help themselves.

Phil seemed in a terribly bad mood when we called in asking if he could get help us get the top off of our oil because it wouldn’t come off and the oil light had come on. We had a long drive ahead to wagga and didn’t want to risk getting stranded in an old van. Phil was rude and wouldn’t even consider helping us, instead he made us feel stupid for asking for help, sent his young assistant who tried to help with pliers, chipped off some of the lid in his efforts, went to ask Phil for bigger pliers and was told to tell us to leave because Phil was too busy for this. All we needed was to borrow some pliers and perhaps a smile.

Phil volunteerd his time to help us with our rally car tonight until 10pm. What an awesome mechanic! So clever and professional and fixed our car in no time. Bend over backwards for you and went the extra mile! Eternally grateful!!!!

Called into Motormatics on a Wednesday, (note I was travelling through not a local) as I was having an issue with a knocking noise coming from the front end of my vehicle, spoke to a staff member who advised that they are extremely busy, but however they could fit me in on Friday to diagnose the problem, then made a temp booking for the following Wednesday incase it needed repairs done. Took my vehicle to them on Friday, Phil went for a drive with me to hear the problem, once back at the workshop put it over the pit and sorted the problem out.Thank you Phil and team you have been a great help, even though you are busy as, you took the time out to help in which was gratefully appreciated.

Phil helped get my old RAV4 back on the road, without notice, while I was passing through Hay from Adelaide to NSW Southern Highlands. A very decent guy who knows his stuff. Anyone who rated this business poorly needs their head examined.

He saved us from being stranded on our journey travelling back to WA! Didn’t hesitate when we called him last minute in the morning when our car had a fault that we couldn’t get fixed, we were in and out in 15 minutes and the service was beyond incredible. Without him we wouldn’t be on the road and now the car is sweet. Highly recommend!
