My wife and I stumbled across The cottage Restaurant and were initially disappointed to find they were not open for lunch, however, much to our delight the chef offered to prepare a light lunch for us consisting of an entree, a desert and a glass of wine.We were treated to dishes that were, simply put, amazing. After our entree we were of the mind that we would definitely be returning for a full lunch or dinner despite what would be for us a one hour commute, then upon completion of our desserts we were putting a list together of those we like to share our next experience at ‘The Cottage’ with.Our thanks to the chef and staff. We look forward to our next opportunity to enjoy your outstanding food and service.

Our meals were exceptional, and the place it's self was beautiful and relaxing. The menu was tempting too, with great variety and I don't think you could be disappointed by any choice you make. It was obvious the chef is very accomplished, and the staff we met made our night. Thank you for a lovely evening!

What a beautiful place to chill. For a special occasion or just a beautiful catchup. Food was amazing, kangaroo, venison, duck, rabbit, so nice to see some different things on a menu for a change. Cocktails were sensational. Prices as expected.

The Cottage Restaurant is another fine example of not having the need to travel to Brisbane to have a nice night out.Our host was splendid and took very good care of us, explaining the menu and intricacies of it and helping us with our wine selection. They also gave us a brief history of the cottage.The food was spectacular. We all had 3 courses, and none of the dishes disappointed. Everything was well balanced and the portion sizes were perfect.I highly recommend The Cottage to anyone and I’m excited to go back and try more meals.

We dined on a Saturday night. There was lots of space. Our table was on the verandah, with a wonderful view over Ipswich. There are tables inside and a room for larger groups. The staff were professional and friendly and the silver service was impeccable. The food was flavoursome, including a broad spectrum of intriguing ingredients. We had the venison and lamb, followed by the pineapple mousse and the cheese plate. The lamb was the star and the cheese plate was not far behind. There is a good deal of street parking nearby. We’ll be back - the tasting experience beckons. ;)

A hidden gem in the heart of Ipswich. The food is first class and the flavors are wonderful. It does not have an extensive menu but what it does offer is innovative and creative. A very reasonably priced restaurant for the standard of food which would easily rival some of the Brisbane city establishments.

Fine dining at its bestThe menu was uncomplicated and had something for everyone . The food was exceptionally good . The chef and his apprentices as well as the smile and unobtrusive service of our waitress need to be commended.5 star restaurant. Highly recommend.We celebrated our anniversary. Intimate and quiet . We dined inside .Can’t wait to go back
