Preston Market
One of the best places to go to on a Saturday morning if you love a fully packed carpark. You get to sit in your vehicle for thirty to forty minutes watching people fighting over carpark spots. Then if you are lucky or angry enough you may score a park. There should be a documentary made about this market. Maybe David Attenborough can do one for us.

Many options for veggies, fruits and meat. Prices not much different from shops. Only advantage is wider range of cuts of meat and choices of veggie shops in one place to compare quality. Very busy market. CleanPlenty of parking. Close to train station so ideal if using public transport.Recommended

Preston Market
Great variety on offer and I especially like the competitively priced fresh meat and seafood. Preston market is an icon and well used by locals and residents from the northern suburbs and beyond. It's much more conveniently accessible than the QV market and has everything you may need. The European deli food is good as is the artisan bread and cakes on offer. Will be a shame if and when this place is demolished for more apartments. Car Parking can be a bit a bit of a nightmare during peak times

Love this place, the hustle and bustle, the huge variety of stalls. Wonderful atmosphere, a much better way to shop than shopping centre. It's a community.Had the most amazing vegan soup and toastie from Super Raw.

Good old fashioned markets combined with a variety of different cuisines all under one undercover place. Ample parking and during market days, 1st 2 hours are free. You won't find many places in Melbourne like this and it's still reasonably priced.
