Fantastic tavern, beautiful view straight out over the water watching all the boats come in and out and the sea planes doing the prawn spotting, the tavern has everything and we ordered 5 meals and they came out very quick and the food was delicious, highly recommend the Barra Burger, was divine. Such a great spot to sit and relax, and even got a photo of a croc at the tavern. Thank you to the staff the service was 5 star.

Massive meals.Great view.Good value.Dog friendly .... almost. You had to tie dogs up outside the roped area so we sat the other side of the rope within the licensed area (half a metre away) and got ticked off when our dog wriggled under that rope.. Would be nicer to section off an area just for dogs and their owners.

The perfect spot to enjoy a beer, chat with fellow travellers and to take in the wonderful sunsets across the gulf. The tavern is very open, great facilities, ok meals and they have happy hour every day from 4pm to 6pm.

Absolutely the perfect location for a few drinks, a meal and enjoy the spectacular sunset.We travel around Australia and film pubs as a hobby and this would be up there on our favourite list!Remember to hang around after the sun has disappeared as Mother Nature puts on a glorious show.Watch our YouTube channel @petespuboftheday

Fantastic place to watch the sunset. Get here a few minutes early to grab a beverage and find a good table. Food was very tasty - vegetarian options available.

We had a lovely lunch here today. Looking for gf for a Coeliac. All staff were very helpful and friendly except one very young woman. The gf meal was lovely as was the other meal, salt and pepper squid and brucetta. The Turkish Bread hadn't been fully toasted and made the brucetta flavourless. After enquiring was told the brucetta was lightly toasted, which I found hard to believe, no sign of toasting, and next time just ask for bread to be toasted, apart from that little glick it was very enjoyable. House wine was delicious. We will be back. The setting is gorgeous overlooking the Norman River.All in all a lovely few hours.
