Karen's Diner
Very fun experience! Better with alcohol to calm the nerves lol. It had great bad service. I've been here twice already. I like to bring my friends for the trauma. The cocktails are nice. I'm not too fond of the chicken wings, they're a bit too tangy. But Karens nine inch dog was delicious. They play fun games throughout the night and it sounded like karaoke upstairs too.

Karen's Diner
Hilarious experience! Getting sworn at while being served. They also manage to be PC while doing it too. The food was pretty standard burger joint food-about 7/10 for yumminess. They nailed our dietary requirements for keto. And it was still a huge burger with lettuce for the bun. The venue is trashed. I think there's been a few too many parties. Still highly recommend going for the experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Karen's Diner, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a classic diner feel that makes you feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. I particularly loved the burgers and fries - they were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. And the milkshakes? Absolutely divine. They were thick, creamy, and oh-so-tasty.But what really sets Karen's Diner apart is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about making sure you have a great experience. They were happy to make recommendations, answer any questions we had, and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied.Overall, I would highly recommend Karen's Diner to anyone looking for a great meal in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Five stars all around!

Karen's Diner
I went with my friend for a quick drink just to see what Karen’s diner is like. I knew of the concept of Karen’s diner and the worker was being rude and sarcastic obviously so that was fine. However I wasn’t aware of the audience participation bit where they get customer to spin the wheel and do whatever it says on the wheel. I was singled out to participate I assume because I interacted less with the worker than my friend did when placing the order and stuff so he must have thought I was more shy. I felt fine until the wheel span and I had to do an impression on the mic in front of the customers. I started having a mini panic attack like I was trembling, breathing rapidly, heart racing, mouth drying up, sweating and I just couldn’t speak. The worker was making fun of me for not speaking and then he finally let me go back to my seat. I knew I was going to be spoken to rudely but I didn’t know I’d be humiliated in front of a crowd like that. I know it’s not really the workers fault as it’s part of his job and the Karen’s diner concept but it wasn’t a fun experience and I won’t go back. It would have been nice if he had broken character after the incident to make sure I was okay, not that he had to or anything but it would have made my experience much better and would have shown that it’s all in good fun but at the end of the day they want to create a good experience and provide good service. Oh and I forgot to mention at the end the worker bullied us into giving him a tip even though we got just two soft drinks.I think the whole Karen’s diner concept is kind of stupid in the long run. It would be fun to go as a once off thing and I’m sure there’s lots of silly funny interactions that go on there but regularly going there / working there doesn’t sound good. It just sounds like there would be so much negativity and dealing with people taking things too far and being genuinely mean to you in a way that’s not funny and doesn’t make you feel good. And the whole idea of a diner where the service is terrible etc blurs the line between what’s ok and what’s not and I’ve seen lots of stories of people crossing this line. They can use the whole concept of Karen’s diner as an excuse for these behaviours and I think that could get risky in certain extreme situationsOverall, they achieved the concept of terrible service. The place was nice and the worker was rude. However they successfully made me feel worse when I left than I did when I arrived. They did their jobs and I was having a good time but the experience of performing in front of a crowd was not enjoyable and I didn’t feel like the way I was treated was in good fun so I won’t be returning. I think the Karen’s diner concept is only fun once or twice as a special event and there’s not much reason to go back once you’ve already been

I could not believe our experience here. We had the most horrible service, we waited for our food for over 1.5 hours for only the waitress to come up to us and say “here’s the dealio, we’ve ran out of beef and the kitchen didn’t receive your order till just now” (mind you, it was 9:30pm on a Saturday night - possibly the busiest time and day for any restaurant so for them to have ran out of beef was quite interesting to me).To make matters worse, when we told them how we felt and how incredibly unfair it was that we have been sitting there for 1.5 hours with no food and only drinks their response was “okay no worries we’ll get you to only pay for the drinks”, which I felt was completely disgraceful as we were not compensated for our time being wasted. This place either needs more staff or a better system to man their orders.Other than that, we appreciated the concept and idea behind the restaurant.
