Mayfield Cell Phone Repairs

DO NOT COME HERE!!! Less than a week ago I brought my phone in for an issue which required the removal of my screen. Yesterday my screen began to stop functioning at all, and upon bringing the phone back to get it fixed up, was told that nothing would be done unless I paid more money, even though I had come in with a receipt and it has been less than a week.

It was Boxing day and my phone failed. I rang and asked about his service and he told me he could fix the problem which was a faulty internal speaker for between $90 to $100. He told me it would be done in 30 minutes, this being the case I went to Macas and had a hot chocolate and a chat to my Grandson. We then walked back to the store and it was working fine. We were that impressed with his service I asked about repairing my Granddaughters ipad he quoted $150 and 60 minutes for the shattered screen and he sent me a text that the ipad was completed at about 45 minutes. This guy best is fantastic.

Kalil is using screens with manufacturing faults to repair phones. Had a screen replaced. I then damaged phone and Samsung repair centre picked up the screen has a manufacturing fault. Kalil would not look at the Samsung documentation and raised his voice when I requested a refund. Categorically said no refusing to look at the Service request and email confirmation referencing the fault. With the works being undertaken by Samsung I am entitled to a refund as I was not made aware the replacement screen was faulty. I would never have undertaken the work if so. It's been over 5 weeks now and have not heard from him. Been referred to Fair Trading.Will update this post as case progresses. One way to get bad advertising. Yell at customers refusing to look at official documentation and then ignore them for 5 weeks. Be careful going here. If you have a problem this is how he treats you.That is incorrect as noted by the Samsung repair centre. The screen was faulty FROM MANUFACTURE. The water damage affected other phone aspects. You got other screens in your stock with MF? Phone makers don't like 3rd party playing with their phones. The screen was faulty when you sold it to me. This review will stay here now for others to see for your absolute and unreserved rudeness and yelling at me you were not interested in reading or listening to anything I tried to talk to you about. Going to cost you a lot more than a refund. Your customer service in dealing with issues is appalling. Smart.

Very fast response and service. Best bang for your buck around Newcastle unlike most other places who buy low quality replacements and then try to charge $300-400ph in labour

My Nokia CO2 plus was going bananas, couldn't restart or reset the phone, couldn't unlocked the screen, nothing seen Khalil, he fixed the problem. Thank you Khalil, Highly recommend Mayfield mobile phones repairs.

Khalil fixed my son’s phone which had been water damaged. This was after being told by apple that it couldn’t be fixed. Photos have been salvaged and we are very happy. Thanks Khalil…you’re a star!!

The camera on my old Oppo died and Khalil made mea most reasonable offer and trade in old phone on a newer model all functioning phone, Khalil transferred all from old to new.His professional manner and knowledge is outstanding.Combine this with his fair pricing and you got a winner right here in Mayfield.

Took my Apple Watch to be repaired, it cost $250 took it swimming after the repair and now it’s not working, the shop took no responsibility. He basically said you should have taken it to apple because they use a machine that makes sure it’s water tight.

I gotta say, what a great service. My phone was water damaged with an impact as well. I feared it was dead and all my data was lost but Khalil did an amazing work and fixed my phone within an hour. I'd totally recommend it to anyone for any phone or laptop problems.Cheers!
