The Mind Room

I have been seeing Hayley Matic intermittently for 3 years now and find her to be an extremely good Health Psych. She helped me to understand the grief I was feeling because of my chronic illness and gave me strategies to work on. I now only see her when I have a life event or a trigger that I need extra support with. Highly recommend Hayley - especially if you are going through a health issue and need help dealing with it.

I was an overseas client and for convenience's sake, I paid for several appointments in advance costing over $1,000. Unfortunately, my therapist was unwell during most of this time, followed by her departure from the Mind Room. I was then told that the Mind Room could no longer have patients from overseas so I asked for a refund. After months (4+ months) of trying to get the refund and many unanswered emails, I finally received the refund, however, it was down $135. When I informed Mind Room they didn't pay me the full refund, I was told they were aware of the mistake and I would receive the refund soon.....to which I never did. After several more emails, no replies, and no refund, I gave up! I hope that the Mind Room used the money they kept towards helping other people/training staff to respond to emails.

Last week I had the opportunity to complete a workshop with Michael. Michael led a great performance mindset workshop. Would highly recommend!

This is an incredible business. From the moment you walk into their premises or you interact online with their reception staff, you realise patients are at the centre of everything they do. I have only seen one therapist, but I am sure the others are just as competent, profesional and caring as mine.

The Mind Room has captured the essence of how healthcare, and more specifically, mental health services should be delivered. High levels of clinical knowledge with amazing restful, comforting and warm (non-clincal/cold) spaces. And a super caring & committed team to match. 5 stars.

I have been on their waiting list for 9 months. They told me 12 weeks initially. I have called several times over the months in an attempt I figure out why I have been left so long. I called again today in an attempt to figure out what the issue was. Nobody has called me to see if I’m okay, the reception staff have been lovely though. If you need help soon, go elsewhere.

Jessica Ash has been amazing in the time I've attended, including all the staff I've interacted with. Feel heard and cared for.

Could not rate The Mind Room in a higher regard. Every single team member is kind, caring and genuinely love what they do. Zoey on the Front Desk has got a great energy and an even better taste in tunes! Easily the best waiting room in Melbourne.

Love this place! Great group classes, helpful and friendly staff team and great hospitality.Greeted by a peaceful and plant filled entrance, a cup of tea is always offered upon entry. I’ve loved my time here and will be back.
