Kootingal Hotel
Superb food and atmosphere in the pub. The staff were some of the best pub staff we have seen - so attentive, detailed and funny. Highly recommend. Bonus: their beer taps are really clean (for those who don’t know, the taps need to be cleaned regularly to get that crisp, clean taste. This location clearly prides themselves on this and it shows).

The front of the hotel was nice,reminded me of an old school country pub.The bar area was neat and tidy & bar staff were friendly.I didn't spend too much time in the beer garden,it's mostly for people to have a cigarette with their drinks.We'll probably visit Kootingal hotel again next time we're in town.

Hubby and I both had an excellent meal here for lunch.You could taste/see this was not mass-produced foods. This was handmade with care.It's an old fashioned pub which is it's charm. Bar staff were friendly. Had a great visit and fully recommend.

After a shaky start, with being laughed at by a fool because I wanted zero alcohol beer because of medical issue, and the new publican acting dumb about zero the night was then very good, great music, good crowd and meals lovely

Good food , prices were good . Had a nice lunch with my kids and grandson . Bar staff polite and friendly . Would definitely go again . The service as really good as well

Food was lovely, service was good but I was extremely disappointed in the hotel for charging $17 for a can of Canadian Club. So We won't be back. Absolutely no need for such greed.

The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. There was an arcade machine there so my kids were entertained. Definitely will be coming back.

I thought the meals were decently priced until we waited over an hour and a half for our meals. Then it came out barely even warm and wasn't even good to eat. The ladies at the bar were really nice and replaced our kids drinks who had saved them waiting for their food, but had ended up with bugs in them, even though we were sitting inside.

Bistro meals are extremely overpriced,ordered reef & beef $44,& rump $37,steak was not cooked how it was ordered & Vegies were barely warm.Looked like the locals reserved all the tables in the bistro,a reserved table for 2 were taking up a whole table for 6 & there was no where to sit only in the bar area on high tables.This pub is very very overpriced & overrated,will not return.
