Poolwerx Boronia

Had Mark out to look over the spa in our new house and replace the light fitting. Was very friendly, reasonably priced, explained everything and gave good advice, including things I could do myself. Following his recommendation I dropped in store for a water test where Liam (good name) explained everything in a way I could understand. Advised what products I had from the old owners that would work, no pressure selling. Was a good experience and would happily use again.

In October last year I began renting a property in ferntree gully, found it hard to find a reliable pool cleaner for regular maintenance and cleaning. Shortly before Christmas the pool was in a pretty bad state and I was able to arrange for Poolwerx to come and clean it up, this required 2 visits. Upon completion of there work the pool was visibly clean and looked good, the bill was around $460 and I forwarded the invoice for work onto the owners of the property for them to pay. A few weeks later the pool began turning green, I called Poolwerx to arrange to get some one out but they wernt able for a few days because they were busy so I contacted another service because myself and the owners were quite concerned about the rapidly deteriorating condition of the pool. A man from envy cleaning attended the property that evening and was is disbelief that the pool could be in such poor condition if it was professionally cleaned only a few weeks prior - and it wasn't until I showed him a copy of the dated invoice that he did believe me. He checked the water levels and found no chemicals in the water what so ever and informed me the pool was full of algae. I contacted the owners of the property who informed me they would take the issue up with poolwerx as it is there property and there pool and they then employed envy cleaning to clean the pool again, this again required 2 visits to clean the pool properly and remove all the algae. The cost of both pool cleaners within a month one period exceeded $1,000. I had believed the owners of the property had raised the issue with poolwerx about not having done the job correctly which led to having to pay $550 to another service to have the pool cleaned again but at 8:30am this morning when a man from poolwerx came knocking at my door demanding I pay the bill I found out this wasn't true, when I attempted to explain to him the issues we had with the job they had done as well he replied well that's not true". I apologise for the fact that the bill was not paid by the property owners but feel it was obviously due to the lacking standard of work that directly resulted in having to pay another service 4 weeks later for what we had believed we employed your service to provide. Il be reporting this to consumer affairs and the small claims tribunal. Do not come near my house again or I will call the police and have you removed. Poor quality of work

They performed an excellent job in restoring our green algae pool to a sparkling blue pool.

Needed some equipment and looked on line at costs involved. I visited Mark at his shop and his prices were more than competitive. Mark promptly fitted the equipment and his after sales service has been excellent. Always on time and listens to what you require. Beats wandering aimlessly around large hardware warehouses in search of supplies. His service thrills to the bone.

These guys came recommended but I’m not happy. First time around they told me our spa was really untreatable and drained it, whilst we are on water tanks and just filled the spa one day beforehand. So once we got a new spa cover for better protection we refilled the spa and I rang them to come clean it before our housewarming. They promised me to come around on a Tuesday, they didn’t show up, I contacted them, they then confirmed to come on Friday. Then they didn’t show up on Friday either. Which now sucks as we wanted it to be clean to be used before the party. They also ignored my calls and text messages. I’m not the one to leave bad reviews but I’m not happy.EDIT: These guys decided to show up on the Tuesday after writing this review/calling them, and they cleaned the spa impeccably. They left all the products so now we can maintain ourselves. I do think their work itself is really good, it was just a slight hiccup with the communication and scheduling an appointment for servicing.

On Google showing its open till 2 pm and once I reached I noticed it's closed on Sunday.

I have learnt so much since switching to poolwerx Knox, about how to maintain and upkeep my pool, which ultimately means less money spent on repairs and unnecessary costs that I used to incur when something would break down due to lack of maintenance and not being informed. I have actually spent less money, by keeping my pool and equipment in good working order. They are not pushing to make you buy new equipment unless you really need it. It also makes me happy to know myself and family/friends are swimming in a hygienic pool. Would definitely highly recommend. Thanks guys!

Recently bought a house with a pool and knew nothing about it. Mark at Poolwerx was the only person to come out the same day (a Friday) to help get the filter going and the water levels right so my kids could have a swim and enjoy the pool that weekend. Great service so far with very good and helpful advice. Can highly recommend Poolwerx Knox.

We have used Poolwerx Knox in Boronia for a number of years for regular pool maintenance and to purchase all our chemicals.The shop has been under new management for a while now and frankly their customer service SUCKS!We needed a new hose for our creepy crawly. It took months to get it. Every time we asked where it was we were told a different story and they never show up when they tell you they are coming.The bearded guy that works in the shop should definitely not be working in a customer service role. He is rude and argumentative with customers and NEVER follows up on anything.Don't waste your time or your money!

We are meant to get water testing and cleaning done monthly however we have to chase you guys in order to get this done. We thought we would get the water checked elsewhere this afternoon and the readings were rather concerning. See attached photo. After calling today I was advised you have us booked in for either Monday, Tuesday or early next year..... Not good enough. What are we supposed to do over the holidays with 3 kids that want to swim?
