BarraCrab Caravan Park

I wish that I had known about this place prior to me booking at Sarina. What a great looking caravan park. The beach is amazing and even though I was there at low tide and missed any opportunity to see a Dugong I still had a great time with friends and even had the best prawn sandwich, they were out of crab that day, and chips at the cafe.

Unpowered camping, beach front.One of the most picturesque spots to back in right up the beach. Bloody unreal. Lovely staff, great food, friendly neighbours and huge expanse of Rock pools for the kids to explore at low tide

We paid for an unpowered spot because they were fully booked (I think only because of their position). We were given a map of the caravan park where there supposed to be a toilet close to where we parked. There was none so we went back to reception (very long walk) and asked; she showed me the toilets that were in the middle of the camping, while in the map they are in the corner!! And she said they couldn’t make the map corresponding to reality otherwise it would have been huge… I guess she wasn’t aware of scaling… We were 5 minutes walking from the toilet and any other amenities, and we knew after we paid. Water from shower comes out brown. I guess not very safe

Awesome spot with great views and really roomy sites. The facilities are spotlessly clean. The bar/restaurant is great. Excellent food and a really great vibe. And like all places like Barracrab it's the fantastic management and staff that make this place stand out. Thanks for a great time. Can't wait to come back.

Meals were delivered quickly, good size and really well prepared. Beers cold and plenty of variety. We stuffed up our booking but still got a room during peak season at 6pm on a Monday night. Worth a visit, thanks guys.

Very good campsite, possibility to choose plots with or without electricity. The spaces are very spacious, the bathrooms are very clean and in excellent condition. Very close to the beach, you can enjoy listening to the sound of the sea at night. We will come back!Prices May 2023:$ 38 / night without power$ 42 / night with power

Awesome camp site. Very peaceful & great views over the water. Super friendly caretakers which has a licensed bar / food. Whole place has a rustic country camp ground feel to it. Loved it

Called in for lunch on a long drive south. Unbelievable quality, portion size and price. Ate under a huge shady tree at the outside tables on the sandy beachfront. A lovely experience and would highly recommend. The van sites and cabins are all close to the beach and within minutes if set back on the expansive park. Beaut spot!

What a rad little place to stop and grab some hot chippies to each by the ocean. The $5 takeaway box of chips was really generously sized. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Don’t drive past without stopping in for a feed.
