The Grand Tofu
Have been visiting this place for at least 10 years and it's still just as good as ever. Most of the food is good but it's difficult to go past the laksa. Malaysian dishes are generally of a good standard too. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

10/10 for this place In all aspects.Food is amazing and the service is quick regardless of how busy it is. Very clean and well stocked. Lots of items to choose from in the menu. The Yong tofu is my favourite and I drive 37 kms twice a month to eat here.Customer service is brilliant. Either or both the owners ( a lady and the man) are always present which is what makes the restaurant run flawlessly. They treat the customers with so much courtesy. The ensure ur looked after and all the staff follow in their footsteps.

Staff is extremely friendly. Can be busy with some waiting required, but that's because the food is really great and the place is popular. No matter how busy it gets, the staff serve you with a smile! Very highly recommended and my go-to place in Glen Waverley for Asian food. Food is very fairly priced

You can barely take a seat and your food is already on the table! Make sure to arrive hungry because you won't wait long! The soups, rice and noodle meals are all amazing. Speaking about the vibe, it is fantastic, it is nearly almost close to full so occasionally be ready to wait in line to get a table. Overall really recommend.

Had curry laksa and deep fried squid tentacles. Amazing Malaysian food. Now I want to try everything on the menu. It was fun as well, picking from the array of items at the counter. Service was fast, and everyone was friendly. Prices are very reasonable as well. I have a new favorite at the Glen!

I remembered the portions were much larger and impressive - I felt the standard has dropped alot! Especially the fish head curry - I was so disappointed that I did not take the pic…. The crispy noodle was just ordinary and the Yong Tau Fu was just average….

The best Yong Tau Foo I've ever had in Melbourne. And I loved how we can take as much pickled chillies as we want, it balances the rich curry laksa broth.

Love the yong tofu here where you can pick 6 toppings and choice of broth. The char Kuey teow is flavoursome with some pork fat pieces. Crispy noodles are okay - slightly overdrenched with sauce making it more wet than crispy for the noodles. The Tek Tarik is good.

Was going to break up with my girlfriend, but the food here was so good that I decided, Ah life couldn't be that bad.Or at least, the pain of eternal struggle with this woman, would be tolerable if I could have a lovely meal here at The Grand Tofu every week.Thank you Grand Tofu for helping me not dump my girlfriend.And also, wow, the prices are sooo good. Like, my girlfriend spends all my money, so you'd think I'd be too poor to eat here. But, all this delicious food for 2 people for just $48? WOW!!! What a deal. I even had extra money to tip the staff, cos they're really good too.In summary, if you want to dump your GF, don't bring her here. Otherwise very good.

The Grand Tofu
An absolute classic if you’re looking for some comfort Malaysian food. This place has been around for ages and is doesn’t disappoint. Love the food, the service is fast but make sure you come a little earlier if you want to miss the long lines at the front (but hey, that’s the sign of a great place right). Too many favourites to list here but promise you’ll be back more than once. The food is super cost effective as well.
